Dear Linda, thank you for the two months we spent at your farm!
Linda, Anine and all the other family members were super nice, welcoming and always helpful.
We learnt a lot about farming, norwegian lifestyle and farm animals, especially horses. During the time we stayed at Lindas farm, there were two foals, so everyday was exciting and we got to
… read more practice the basics with the foals, for example putting a halter on and off and walking with them. We enjoyed all the chats with Linda and the daily banana ice cream in the evening while watching tv shows. The christmas time was very comfy. They showed us what a typical advent breakfast is like in Norway and how you make the perfect hot chocolate. We were able to ride the horses, which was very cool. Furthermore it was funny to collect eggs, talk with the horses as you watch them eating, or helping Linda with removing cow shit.
We had a lot of fun, thank you for everything!

… read more really enjoyed our little gossip rounds in the kitchen and the country karaoke ;)) The dogs and cats are absolutely adorable and want to be cuddled all the time, the horses have a really strong personality and are just great and I didn´t know how much cows can want to be pet. I felt really welcomed and comfortable the whole time and enjoyed all the interesting talks, fun movie nights& grocery shopping trip. Linda, thank you for just sitting in the kitchen and chatting about everything and for showing me how to make the absolut best hot cocoa. Linda, as I read in the comments what a strong, wise and independent woman you are I became even more curious to meet you. I was sometimes even shocked by the stories you told me.
I was impressed by the fact that you are standing next to me with such a strong mindset despite all the pressure and responsibility you have behind you.

You showed me the definition of making the best possible out of whatever life brings you.

I spent 10 weeks at this farm and I am so thankful for the experience I made and that I stayed with such a great family in such a lovely place.
Everyone was very kind to me and I could feel that they did everything so that I feel welcomed and at ease while I lived with them.
The work was good, the animals are really sooo great (especially the dogs
… read more which I have taken to my heart), there is always lots of good food and in general I learned so much. Linda told me a lot about Norway/culture/ect. and of course also about animals and "farm life".
It was also no problem for me to travel to Oslo (or other cities) for a short trip, I just had to tell Linda early enough what I was planning to do. :)
If anything was not okay (which was really only rarely the case), it was also no problem to just talk about it so that we could figure it out together.
Linda, I learned so much during this time and I am so thankful for everything (and thank you so much for the little pep talk you gave me on the last evening :)). You are a very inspiring, kind and strong woman, I hope you know that. I will never ever forget my time in Norway and if I ever comeback to Norway (which I definitely want to do!) I hope that I will have the chance to visit you again.

If you ever get a request from Treza about a stay with you-then you should act fast! This amazing young woman is really one in a million! From the minute she came, she was a great help. I had many Workawaers, but Tereza really stands out in a fantastic way. If I could I would keep her here forever.

Wonderful! Amazing! I will never ever forget the days I spent in the farm and especially Linda. She is strong woman, full of joy and laughter, despite some hard times what life brings. I will never forget my time with Linda and her family! I stayed with them for almost three months and I absolutely adored her beautiful and secluded farm in rural Norway. Katerina is educated reg.nurse and so am I. I can see she will be a great nurse and the fasillity that hire her will be very lucky to have her. They will get a young nurse who cares and long to do best for all, and she will do so too.
We really miss Katerina very much and would be happy to have her back. If she would ask me again if she could come here again, I would say yes in a second and keep her as long as possible.
So anyone looking for a great workawayer or even better a nurse, go for Katerina. I can be contacted for further information or questions. Katerina lived with us for two mounts and we enjoyed every day with her.
