If you are looking for a great guy to help out in about any situation, Jason is you guy. He arrived on the farm ready to work and jumped in helping with chores right away. Jason is eager to try new things and learn skills.

We enjoyed great conversations and a bit of wine.
Jason was a part of the family while here, enduring more than he bargained for, I’m sure.
He’s a great sport and was incredibly kind to our two grandchildren.
I highly recommend Jason, he will not disappoint!
He’s welcome to come back anytime.

My month-long stay with Tammy and Skip on their farm was an enjoyable and educational experience. Their farm is multifaceted. As such, to my delight, monotony was not experienced. Tammy's cooking (and Skip's grilling) was delightful throughout my stay. In addition to the impressive meals, customized snacks were provided. They maintained a high level of conscientious and inclusive hospitality the entire month. I very much enjoyed and appreciated our conversations. Charlie is amazing! She is an eager learner, picks things up very quickly.
Charlie has a true desire to learn the farming lifestyle and aspire to farm herself one day. She will be a true asset to any farm, she will manage any task asked if her.

We are better folks having spent a few weeks with Charlie!

I just wrapped up a too-short-three-week stay with Skip and Tammy. They are impressive and inspiring farmers and wonderfully hospitable people. David has been with us twice as a Workawayer. We have totally enjoyed our time with him. Each time he has arrived eager and ready to assist. David joined us in all of our daily tasks. He is a wealth of information and has a super attitude.

Wow ! I can't believe I forgot to leave a review for this Workaway. I was here for quite a while, starting the day Luke departed in May 2019. I stayed with Skip and Tammy for almost eight weeks. It was an absolutely wonderful experience.
The day to day work varied but always began with morning chores followed by breakfast then the day's projects and usually ended with afternoon chores -unless there was something important that needed to be finished or done. The projects varied greatly,
… read more some of the things we worked on while I was there was power washing, bark mulching, assisting with catching honeybee swarms, repairing hive parts, planting/tending the garden, adding insulation to the attic of the main house, improving some fencing and some general property maintenance -mowing, etc. In addition several kids were born when I was there and yes baby goats are kinda cute!
The soap cottage where I stayed is as nice as it looks in the pictures - maybe even better. There are two friendly cats that live up there which generally would sleep on the bed with me.
I also had the wonderful opportunity to get to know some of Skip and Tammy's relatives and church family which I enjoyed very much.
So if you are looking for a kind and friendly family (who also feed you quite well!) a beautiful place to stay and tons of animals: dogs, cats, goats, chickens, a donkey and a llama this is the place for you!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

I had a great 1 month stay at Skip & Tammy's farm. As seen in the photos, the accommodations are amazing. We had some big projects ahead of us and inclement weather to deal with - there were some long work days involved. Every day began and

Work during the day included building a deck, pruning fruit trees, planting the garden. There's not a lot to do in the immediate area in your spare time, but there was opportunity to catch a ride into Little Rock at least once a week. Skip & Tammy are over-the-top friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. I would definitely make a stop here again if I found myself in the area.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Julie was a joy to have with us. She was a great assistant, jumped right in and helped as needed. She was quick to pick up on tasks. We enjoyed visiting with her about her adventures and ours. She makes the best scrambled eggs! We would welcome her back anytime.
James was with us for about two weeks. He was up to any task asked of him. He was competent and skilled. We completed several small jobs we had on our list. We were grateful for his timely assistance.
James is neat and clean and up to what you need him to help with.

I stayed with Skip and Tammy for about 2 weeks in October. We cut down some trees, worked on a few pieces of equipment, built a fence, and worked with the animals daily. I could go on all day about my 2-month stay in Arkansas. Skip and Tammy are two of the most generous, hard-working and genuine folks I've ever met, and it was a blast living and working with them!
