  We are a spanish/german couple with two daughters of almost five and seven years, living in a beautiful house surrounded by nature and with an incredible view on the Atlantic ocean in El Hierro, Canary Islands. Alvaro is a documentary filmaker and Carmela has studied psychology and cultural anthropology but both of us are nowadays self-employed, managing a business of leather bags and in the real estate business. Alvaro is a paragliding pilot. We both like to dive, hike, go to the sea and enjoy as much as we can this beautiful island. We are rebuilding a fantastic property in Las Playas with low budget and need many hands to help!

  We need help renovating a house by the sea in the Las Playas area, near the El Hierro National Parador. We are looking for independent and resourceful people capable of doing basic house and garden maintenance and living in the house. Individuals, couples, or families are welcome.

  Necesitamos ayuda para rehabilitar una casa a lado del mar en la zona de Las Playas, cerca del Parador Nacional de El Hierro. Buscamos personas independientes y resolutivas capaces de hacer trabajos básicos en la casa o el jardin y habitar la casa. Pueden ser individuos, parejas o familias.

  Accommodation is in the same house where you work, with a private room, a bicycle for short trips, and public transport just five minutes away for exploring the rest of the island. The location is incredibly beautiful, right on the beach, and the house is secluded with no neighbors nearby.

  The best thing to do here is discover and enjoy the island , trekking, swiming, snorkelling, diving of even flying in paragliding. We can offer to join us in our frequent excursions around the island.
