Descrição
We are a family of 5 (Lars, Liza, our two girls and a cat) who have built a home in the middle of the jungle. We have created a off grid eco homestay/farm and let tourists come and stay with us.

It is a perfect place to learn about the Bidayuh culture and local food (Liza is a chef by profession and cook delicious food made from wild ingredients). The fact that we are surrounded by rainforest makes it also a perfect place to experience a life in the jungle.

Ajuda
The farm is in constant need of maintenance (weeding and pruning) and when we got guests we also need help with cleaning, helping out in the house and entertain our charming girls(if we are busy). Because of our remote location we also need some help with bringing in supplies now and then.

We got 4 rooms for our guests and will provide one of them for our volunteers.
All basic but clean and with bed linen, mosquito nets and towel provided. Shared toilet and shower.
All meals are also provided :)

Because of our remote location our volunteers won't be able to go anywhere else when staying with us. But from previous experience that has never been a problem. Volunteers and our guests normally just love kicking back at our big balcony overlooking the jungle and listening to the sounds. You can also walk around in the nearby forest and swim in the river.

I only stayed 5 days in this beautiful place and enjoyed every second of it. Lars and Lisa are very nice, they create their own paradise in the middle of the jungle. We learn a lot of things about the bidayu culture and the wildlife. This place is beautiful and even if the owner are busy and cannot host you, try to go as a client as it is the place to be in Kuching.
You can access there only by boat and the cruise with Lars is breathtaking.
