  We are an australian/english couple with three bilingual children living 10 minutes drive from the best surfing beaches of South west France and 1.5 hours from the ski resorts in the Pyrenees. The basque mountains are also 40 minutes from our doorstep as is San Sebastian. It is a holiday destination for surfers and tourists from all over the globe - you can surf, swim, hike, pop down to San Sebastian for tapas or just enjoy the countryside.

  We need help renovating a townhouse - this will involve painting, general DIY etc. The volunteers will have the run of a 5 bedroom farmhouse as we live separately nextdoor - best to have your own car as the village is in the middle of the countryside!.
