Looking for someone(s) to housesit on a farm in the middle of a beautiful forest far away from the modern world.
We grow almonds, olives, pomegranates and other fruit and veg on the farm for our own consumption although at the moment we are just focusing on making the place look presentable.
Previously there was a campsite on the finca and several houses which were used for holiday lets. The houses are all still in operation but the campsite has been discontinued.
We are off grid, which means we get our electricity from solar panels and our water comes from a well. No pollution for miles, very clean living. The house itself is well equipped and spacious but don't expect a luxury villa. Some sprucing up wouldn't go amiss so anyone comfortable working with their hands would be most welcome.
Ideally we are looking for a family or a group of friends to stay up at the farm. Views are second to none and closest neighbours are wild goats.

It was a pleasure to have Tereza and Martin up at the farm. They were very respectful and helpful with anything that needed doing. No fuss whatsoever and capable of adapting to challenging circumstances. I can highly recommend them.

Ruth has been great up at the farm. She has kept the house immaculate and is not afraid to get her hands dirty. She has a positive attitude towards life and is it rubs off on those around her, whether they be human, animal or whatever else. Highly recommended.

In a beautiful setting, with a variety of jobs and tasks.
