  I live in Lisbon but have another house in Tomar (center of Portugal) where I’m engaged in rewilding and food foresting.
  I’m 65, married, we have 2 daughters and seven grandsons.
  I like nature watching, so we have outdoor wildlife cameras to catch animal pictures, binoculars, a spotting scope.
  We have several friends living nearby with similar interests regarding ecology and circular economy.

  I’ve started this rewilding and food forest project in the autumn of 2019 and as it is so recent, there’s still a lot of work in planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, and even planning where and what to plant.

  A room in the the main house, free access to the kitchen for breakfast and tea, lunch and dinner with the family.

  We have a local community with similar points of view regarding ecology. We are within 20 minutes walking distance to the next village where we can use a bus to go to Tomar or we use our car to move around. There’s also a bicycle.
  The Convento de Cristo (dated from 1160) is a major monument of outstanding universal value. Built over the span of 5 centuries, it’s a unique architectural complex combing Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque.
  We have Wi-Fi and a reasonable library at home.
