Perfect for a first workaway experience, Rhianon is very friendly and welcoming.
I dit the tasks in the morning, it takes around 3h, after that I had all my afternoons and week ends free to discover the Gold Coast!!

This was my first workaway experience and first time away from home (UK). I spent just over two months with Rhi and the family and I had the best time. From the minute I met them they maybe me feel comfortable and part of the family and after being away from my family for 4 months it was exactly what I needed along with some delicious home cooked

The public transport is great therefore i was able to explore the gold coast on my weekends or after i had finished my jobs or chill and get a tan by the pool in the afternoon! Along with joining the family on any activities or days out they went on which was a lovely experience especially Amelias dance show!!
Rhi was well organised, and all daily tasks were listed out for me to do, taking a couple hours each day, the work is easy mainly just consisting of keeping the house clean and tidy. She is so flexible and as long as the house is maintained, and the jobs are done then its up to you what you do with your time and when you do them. Therefore, i still had plenty time to get out for walks, attend a gym just a short walk away and get out for runs while marathon training (which the family were very supportive of)

… read more really enjoyed my stay there and wished to stay longer for help. I had everyone in mind, Rhi is kind and easy going, Steve is silent but detail oriented, kids are lovely too. Levy is a master chef and helped me with dumplings, and Amelia is a great dancer. Lily is the first kid I met in the family and asked me to sit in the middle of the sofa when I arrived. Aliya(Sorry, the spelling might be wrong) was busy with her graduation so we barely had chance to talk. I miss this big happy family a lot!Fotos

Rhiannon, Steve and their 4 children were always very kind to me and made me feel at home from the first moments. Regarding help, it's usually in the morning. … read more chores like cleaning floors, tidying up and washing up. What's great is that you know your schedule for the week and it's up to you to manage your timing! By the way, the bus is a 10-minute walk away, which is perfect for getting around easily and independently.
During my stay, I was able to share some great moments with them, such as eating pizzas by the water, seeing Amelia's show, playing basketball with Levi and Steve or playing board games with the girls. And let's not forget Rihannon, who was always on hand with good advice and a laugh over a drink too!
I had an unforgettable experience with them. I wish I could have stayed longer... Many thanks !

… read more work is reliable and totally manageable - it was really nice to have a predictable routine and it was a pleasure to help around the house. It was equally fun to take go to Surfer's Paradise (via tram) or walk around the peaceful neighborhood during my time off (you can take a bus/or walk to the library or Westfield shopping center in town).

Sharon was an absolutely beautiful soul! We loved hosting her. Super flexible and took the time get to know each of the kiddies individually. Initially going to stay for 4 weeks but she decided to extended as we had availability which we were so thankful for! Amazing tutor aswell 🌸 wish her the best on her travels!

The work is super easy and mostly consists of helping keep the house clean and running. She’s very organized (and flexible), so it’s easy to know what to get done for the day. I helped out just a few hours each week-day and had plenty of time to go to pilates classes, enjoy many beaches, see kangaroos and koalas, and more!
