  Hi,
  
  I am Mohamed Aztat, an official mountain & desert tour guide. I am Berber and originally from Imlil region. I have been leading treks in the High Atlas for over a decade, and have worked as a tour guide, muleteer and cook for various UK tour companies over the years.
  
  I am a graduate of the mountain school at Tabant and co-founder of a travel agency. I have won many accolades from the UK media, include Condé Nast, the Guardian, Lonely Planet and the BBC.
  
  I have chosen Ouirgane in the Atlas Mountains, to create a serene place where people can connect to nature and themselves. Our project aims to promote ecotourism in our region and benefit the local population .
  The place is located in the foothills of Morocco’s High Atlas mountains. It’s a breathtaking location with stunning sceneries .
  
  Our Ouirgane Ecolodge is on 4000 m2 embedded in a lush nature, an idyllic place to live a unique experience of scenery and serenity.
  
  The architecture of the places goes in harmony with nature and the mountains,it is combining stones, Mud,bricks and wood, which brings character and charm, in the spirit of a traditional village.

  Travelers will get immersed in the Berber culture ,they can learn how to cook traditional Berber Dishes, culture exchange with locals and staff and learn from our experience in tourism .
  For people who are aiming to stay for more than three months ,we can offer a wage to help cover some of your expenses .
  Also, Ouirgan is only 60km far from Marrakech and for people who are coming first time to Ouirgan, we are ready to pick you up for free.

  Ajuda

  We are looking for a polyvalent person who can help us with our eco-projects.
  Many tasks can be done : Gardening, social media management, welcoming guests and show them around , building in case we need to expand the project
  
  We would like to have a volunteer who can assist us in teaching language lessons especially English for staff, help with our guests and general maintenance activities around the hotel grounds, including our small organic garden.

  Acomodação

  You will get in return a shared room either with local workers or workawayers and a bathroom with a shower.
  We are offering free access to the lodge kitchen and a stipend for food.
  Tents in the summer are an option in the garden if you want to enjoy the scenery and the fresh air.

  We are based in the Atlas Mountains where lot of people come to enjoy their holidays. Many walking trails are available, historical sites to visit and Mt Toubkal; Highest summit in North Africa is easily reached from Our place,it only requires 2 days .
  In your spare time, you can visit Marrakech and its region or go for a hiking journey. We will be glad to recommend other activities depending on your interests .
