I had an amazing 6 weeks with the family in Madrid! Santi and Hortensia were always recommending me things to do around Madrid and other places in Spain!

I have spent almost a month with Santiago and his family (July-August 2022) and this trip was my first Workaway experience. All I can say is that I had an amazing time, which I will never forget. I felt like I am part of the family from the minute I arrived. Santiago and Hortensia told me so many things about Spain and the Spanish culture
… read more (including the cuisine: they made me try soooo many good food!!!) and they were caring and super nice to me the whole time! The kids (Gala and Telmo) contributed to my unforgettable time there for sure! They are so full of life, kind-hearted and funny children! The job was extremely easy (I would not even call it as a job) and their home is at a really good location: Madrid is only half an hour away, you can go there every day if you want. And also, there are other nice places to visit in the area: and as a plus, Santiago can tell you interesting stories about them!!! :D
All in all, I truly recommend you to stay with them. As for me, I cannot be more grateful that life took me there!
