  Do you want to explore the best of Northern Albania and have a whole heap of fun along the way? Get ready to be part of a truly unique travel experience.
  
  During your time here, you will help with general housekeeping, preparing family dinners, running daily events and leading pub crawls.
  
  We are looking for volunteers that are super social, eager to explore the best of Shkoder and participate in nightly events.
  Our volunteers work a variety of four hour shift 5 days a week. Ranging from reception help, leading daily activities and pub crawls. As we are a busy hostel we are looking for people who take initiative, lead by example and work well in a team environment.

  Workawayers will learn all about Shkoder and embed themselves in Albanian culture. They will get to see all the hidden gems that Shkoder has to offer while learning a bit about hostel hospitality and culture: hands-on experience with nearly every aspect of a working hostel.

  So, what will you do? The answer is, a bit of everything. We want our shipmates to connect with the city of Shkoder and Albanian culture the way that we do. So, together with our local and international staff you'll gain hands-on experience with hospitality and tourism while uncovering the gems that lie in Northern Albania. We want every day to be an adventure for you and our guests. So, your main task is to create a friendly, safe, and fun atmosphere for everyone.
  
  While you are with us, we want you to have the best time possible. So we prioritize a variety of experiences with each 4 to 5 hour shift. You might lend a hand on one of our evolving art projects, or help us greet travelers at the reception desk. Or you could accompany us on daily excursions and help grow our social media. We want you to come away from your experience inspired, revitalized, and ready to pursue your passions. So, whatever skills you have, we want you to explore them here!   Our volunteers will share a 10 bedroom dorm laid out especially for them. The room has its own bathroom and quality amenities. You'll also have full use of our shared kitchen, garden, bicycles, and additional facilities.

  Local sights: 2000+ year old castle, Murabi Photography Museum, Venetian Mask Factory/Museum, Velipoje sand beach, Shkoder Lake, historic downtown area, countless places to sit/swim by the rivers.
  
  Easy access to bus lines for day trips to local Albanian northern mountain villages such as Theth and Valbona and nearby locations in Montenegro. In winter, 2.5 hours away from a great ski location (Kolasin, Montenegro).
