  My husband and I live in the Hudson Valley with our two dogs. We are in our mid thirties, and we both work from home, and enjoy cooking, hiking, and creative projects in our free time. There is a lot of great hiking in the area, which is why we moved here! I also dabble with pottery and other art projects. We value kindness, community, autonomy, respect, and clear communication.

  The Hudson Valley area is absolutely beautiful and has a lot of nature and outdoor experiences to offer. There is a university in our town so lots of young people around to meet. As far as what we can help you with, My husband and I can share the tools (books, experiences, stories, and wisdom collected along the way) that helped us in our personal growth and/or career journeys. If you’re an artsy person, you can enjoy access to my pottery and art studio. Above all, I think that what we really have to offer is a peaceful and fun home environment.

  Ajuda

  There are two main areas where we expect to need help late summer / early fall 2023: 1- designing a building a garden. After a construction project on our property, I will work on designing a planting a garden, which will involve figuring out the right plants, acquiring what’s needed, and planting the garden. It might also involve building a fountain, we’ll see how much we’re able to get done before the cold weather sets in. 2- we’re expecting a baby in May, and might need help around the house once my mom goes home, things like cleaning, laundry, washing dishes, walking the dogs. Would love to have someone with gardening experience for the first, but no experience necessary for the second. a good work ethic and good energy is required for both. Nobody wants bad vibes in their own home, am I right?

  Will lend you a bicycle during your stay to get around town! You can take the bus to NYC (it takes 1.5 hours to get there) if you wanna go to the big Apple.
