  NOTE: Currently looking for an individual or couple keen to stay in the house from mid November to mid December. Ideally someone who can do some basic manual labour and who is okay with the chilly climate of North Sweden! :) Get in touch.
  
  I’m glad you’re here. If you’re reading this it’s because you’re curious about the house (new name TBD). I purchased the house with the intention of turning it into an artists’ residency stroke communal space. I admit this aim is fairly ambiguous, but that’s because I am really keen to create it together with and for folks who share an enthusiasm for creativity and community.
  
  I took possession of the house in August 2024, and 2025 will involve returning, renovation, and imagining. I have loads of ideas for additions that will make the house better suited for cooking and eating as a group, growing food on the land, etc. Equally important though, are the conversations, connections, and ideas I hope will emerge as people meet in Nyland. To clarify, this project is not a money-making scheme and I am absolutely not interested in becoming a landlord of any kind. In the short term I will be covering all costs of the house myself, and intend to seek funding to support programming in the future.
  
  As for workawayers, I’d love for folks to stay in the house over the next few months, especially while I'm not there. All you have to do is look after it, though I am open to offers of work around the house, gardening, etc.
  
  You will have the house to yourself. Everything you will need is within walking distance. The house has wifi and electric heating atm- though working on getting a wood-burning fireplace installed asap.

  The house has a great deal of space. Depending on who is at the house, workawayers can stay in the bedroom (with large double bed) or the guest room/office (with single bed) on the main floor. Workawayers will have access to the whole house and property.
