  Hi! I´m David, I live with my friend Jon and my two cats Chusta and Pipa. We have a nice house in the mountain we would like to share with travellers and we think our new home could benefit from a little input from everybody! As the workaway spirit; we are more interested in knowing new people and new things than in anything else

  First of all you can benefit from knowing two 100% Madrid guys who can show you the country side in which we live peacefully (with it´s plants and animals and it´s long routes for hiking and biking) and we can also show you the city where we were born (with it´s history, arts, gastronomy and countless people who are the best thing to know in Madrid; and we know a few...) We are entrepreneurs, if that is you thing surely we can share some knowledge too.

  Ajuda

  We would appreciate some help taking care of the garden, we want to improve the look of it and grow food! It would be grate to learn from people with farming skills and who can contribute to a more eco sustainable garden. In addition we appreciate good cooking, good conversation and good inclination to cooperate with the house usual cleaning and maintenance.

  Acomodação

  The house is pretty new (2006) so its comfortable, it is an individual house in a residential area with some 100 similar houses. It has 2 floors, 3 bathrooms, 4 dorms, a full equiped kitchen and a garage. You will have an individual room with individual bed. The garden is not big ( 200m2 max). THERE ARE TWO CATS IN THE HOUSE, maybe it´s not suitable for allergic people.

  The house is 2km away from Bustarviejo Village in the Madrid mountains (1800m high), 30min walk from the centre. In the village there are bars and shops. There is a bus in the Village to Madrid, 60km away (1:15h and 5€). The area is ideal for bird watching, walking or just relaxing in nature. The Village has a very easy going vibe and plenty of young people so there´s movement. You can choose the relax-in-the-mountain version or move around to Madrid City with us too (I go by car pretty often).

  I work at home so there is decent Wifi and we can arrange a table next to mine.

  There are two cats in the house. They are used to dogs visiting but they are no friends as you might imagine. We can work it out.
