  Hello!
  
  We are a warm and open-minded family living near the beautiful beaches of Tarifa in southern Spain – where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, with stunning views all the way to Morocco.
  
  We live in a large private home and are looking for some support with daily life – mainly general household tasks and keeping the house clean and tidy. Especially during the summer months of July and August, our home becomes quite lively: sporty friends and HomeExchange guests regularly come to stay, and our days are filled with kitesurfing, beach time, and occasional shared meals in a relaxed atmosphere. During this busy and social time, we really appreciate some extra help around the house.
  
  We have two daughters aged 12 and 18 who would love to improve their English. If you enjoy chatting with them in English from time to time in a relaxed and natural way, we would be very happy – although this is not a main task and is less important during summer.
  
  We don’t have any pets. You will have your own private room, Wi-Fi, and everything you need to feel comfortable and at home with us.
  
  What matters most to us is that you are warm-hearted, reliable, easygoing, and enjoy nature, beach life, and being part of a relaxed family environment. Ideally, we are looking for someone who could also independently manage the house and look after friends or guests for a few weeks while we are travelling.
  
  We see the household help as a natural part of daily family life. The tasks mainly include general household duties, cleaning the apartments, changing bed linen, and helping with small everyday things.
  
  Important: The help we are asking for is strictly related to our private household – such as general house care, cleaning tasks, or occasionally speaking English with our children in a relaxed setting. It does not involve work connected to any commercial guest business or events.
  
  We look forward to welcoming you into our little world here in Tarifa!

  We’re a warm and open-minded family who loves meeting people from different cultures. While our schedule can get quite busy at times, we’re happy to include you in our everyday life whenever possible—whether that’s a chat over coffee, a walk on the beach, or sharing a meal together.
  
  We can offer you insights into Spanish culture and life in Tarifa, and we’re always eager to learn about other perspectives and stories. We value a relaxed and respectful exchange, without any pressure or fixed routines.
  
  And of course, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy all kinds of watersports here!

  Ajuda

  As a Workawayer with us, your main task will be helping with house tasks – cleaning, tidying, and keeping our private home in good shape. Especially during the summer months (mainly June,July, August and September), we host kite and sports gatherings with friends and guests from around the world. It can get quite busy, so it’s important that you're hands-on and not afraid of practical help.
  
  If you enjoy spending time with kids, you’re also welcome to chat in English with our two daughters (ages 12 and 18) – they love practicing! But this is completely optional and not your main responsibility.
  
  If you have experience in education, that's a lovely bonus – but again, absolutely not required.
  
  Our home is just minutes from the stunning Tarifa beach, one of Europe’s top spots for surfing and kitesurfing. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy nature, or try out a new sport. You’ll also have the chance to improve your Spanish by immersing yourself in the local culture and daily life.
  
  We're looking for someone friendly, motivated, and ready to get involved – we look forward to welcoming you into our everyday life here in beautiful southern Spain! 🌞🌊

  We’re especially interested in language exchange! Our daughters are working on improving their English, and we'd love to help you with your Spanish in return. It's a great way for everyone to learn and grow through daily conversations and shared experiences. Whether it’s helping with homework, chatting over meals, or exploring the area together, language learning can happen naturally and in a fun way.

  Acomodação

  You’ll have your own private room with a comfortable bed, Wi-Fi, and everything you need for a relaxed and secure stay.
  
  As for meals, you're welcome to join us from time to time when we're home, but we’re often quite busy or out during the day. You’ll have full access to the kitchen, so you can prepare your own food independently. We like to keep things flexible and easygoing!
  
  We will provide food for you to cook your own meals whenever you like. Often, we also cook and you're of course welcome to join us for shared meals when we do.

  In your free time, you can enjoy the beach, try surfing, explore Tarifa’s old town, or take day trips to nearby areas. There are buses and shared rides available, and we’re happy to give you tips!
  
  We live a relaxed but respectful lifestyle—keep shared spaces tidy, be mindful of quiet times, and just communicate openly. Other than that, we keep things simple and positive!

You’ll have a quiet private room to focus, and we’re flexible with your schedule, so you can balance work and helping us out. Just let us know in advance if you need specific hours or quiet time for your work, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!
