I live in Pinerolo, near Turin ( Italy), with two foster daughters, a dog and a piano; my three sons live away. Everyday I go to my field, among the woods in the Western Alps, from where you can see the mountains around. There I'm growing soft fruits and herbs using an organic method. My project is to create a social and welfare farm, where to work or to walk or to relaxe among natural sounds and scents, flowering colours. There is an old farmhouse to restore in order to build a laboratory ,to dry herbs, to cook jams and cake, and rooms. I'd like also to build a compost toilet in the wood.
Thanks to all the past workawayers my small farm and my ecoproject are growing, I've started to sell dryed herbs to a small organic market in Pinerolo: now I feel that the farm and the project are shared with friends from different country of the world and that we can move forward in the project.

They could learn how to grow herbs and soft fruits using a organic method, they could enjoy the peaceful wood and field and the view of Western Italian Alps. I'm an artist and an art therapist too and we can speak about art, cinema and literature and we can argue social farming.
I need help to weed the field, to transplant herbs, to pick flowers and berries, to collect and chop wood, to mulch, to rake.

A room and a bathroom at home in Pinerolo
They can go to Turin, by bus or train, where they can enjoy museums, buildings, churches, castles... They can go seightseeing around Pinerolo by bike or trekking on the Alps or climbing. Liguria is not far and they can go there on weekend by train. I can introduce them into folk dance, bouldering and to a lot of friends of mine. I can speak French and English.
