  It is a place for person who admires nature and likes peace and quiet lifestyle.
  
  Our place is a farm house in Pikva village, Harjumaa Estonia. It is located by Jägala River. Distance from the capital is 50 minutes by car.
  
  Establishment is surrounded with Kõrvemaa nature reserve and Jägala river. Across the river are our neighbors - small summer houses. Nature reserve provides clean and healthy environment.
  
  What to do in here? + Free time and socializing.
  
  Pikaveski is for summer living! All activities are outside! Winter months are not suitable for outdoor living. In Estonia Summer months are following:

  *- really depends on a Year. Follow the weather forecast! We have had snow in May. One the other hand some Years we can swim in the river during May. Other months are OK, if You have Your own recreational vehicle (RV), which is weather proof. Winters and autumns are really beautiful at Pikaveski! Spring is my favourite time as the nature is waking. Regardless of the weather we are there mainly from June to August. Main factor is children school schedule.
  
  Electricity is available on some houses. For scrolling addicts there is 4G or 5G network.
  
  The farm is not our main home. It means we spent time there during warmer months. We are there during the summer nights and weekends. We renovate hold houses and maintain the garden. As garden is huge, there are many activities. Planting salads and tomatoes and cucumber and other veggies. My dream is to start a apple garden.
  
  Accommodation is in sauna house. It has second floor for sleeping and first floor has dark small room for indoors eating and sauna for personal hygiene. Sauna is wood operated and requires fire. Most of people spend their time outdoors and in summer kitchen. Cooking is outdoors. As most of the activities are in the garden, then our place is suitable for summer times. In winter we have snow and total darkness. Therefore we invite workawayers only on late spring to early autumn.
  
  Whom is it for?
  
  I can tell who has visited us during last 8 years. There were two set of people who stayed more than 3 months. Both of them came with their own caravan and stayed for several weeks. They helped us with garden maintenance and woodwork projects mentioned earlier. Of course they had convenience of their motorhome. One couple had children other one cats:). They worked remotely with their own projects and helped us for some hours each week.
  
  Other group of workawayers is solo traveller who likes nature and peace and relaxing environment. There have been several of them.
  
  And finally couples or friends who travel together.
  
  Eating and food:
  
  We deliver food to fridge in the main house. We provide dinner. Breakfast and Lunch has to be prepared by workawayers in summer kitchen.
  
  Our expectations.
  
  We respect everyone and their skill set.
  
  Therefore jobs are according to your knowledge. We can teach some skills locally.
  
  We would like to learn ourselves different construction or landscaping jobs. Woodworking or carpentry are specially interesting.
  
  Basic tasks are watering the plants in greenhouse or simple landscaping. For example building limestone pavement.

  We do not have a list of tasks. Whatever the skillset is, there we can provide some activities.
  Regular tasks:
  Watering the plants in the greenhouse;
  Lawn care;
  Planting trees:
  Light wood working, depending on skills

  Acomodação

  Accomodation is in loghouse/sauna. 4 beds sleepingroom + sauna room + main room with small oven.
  Try toilet. Hygene in sauna or garden shower.

  Transportation is by car. I will provide transfer from capital or near by town of Kehra. There is a train stop 4km from the farm. However it is trough forest.
  
  It is possible to travel to capital Tallinn for the day and enjoy the medieval old town and other sights.
