  We are Benedikt and Fanny, respectively from Austria and France. We have lived in many different countries before settling in Zug, Switzerland. We speak English, French, German and Spanish.
  We are back to work away after welcoming 2 children to the world, Oliver 20 months and Iris 3.5 y old.
  We love to stay active and although life is different with 2 young kids, we still cycle, run, swim or play tennis.
  We are vegetarian, although we don't ask you to be.
  What we ask from you:
  it is an adjustment for children to bring someone new to our home and for that reason we prefer someone who want to stay for a minimum of 2 weeks, preferably 2-3 months.
  you would need to be either a native French, German or English speaker (or fluent)
  you need to be comfortable with young children for example: keep quiet during nap and bedtime, no alcohol and of course enjoy the company of children

  Zug is a small city with all the amenities (shopping, cultural activities) of a larger city. It is home to many expats and the cultural and social offering is also catering for the many expats, e.g. the Casino Theatre has an English speaking program, the library offers story reading in different languages. There is a lake bordering the centre of Zug with many public beaches and offers unlimited outdoor activity options.
  If you want to escape the city, Zug is 20 min by train from Zurich, 60 min from the ski slopes.
  We would gladly speak English, German, French or Spanish with you and include you in our daily activities.

  We would appreciate some help around the house (cooking, laundry, recycling, watering plants, grocery shopping) and potentially with children if you have experience, including picking them up from daycare.

  You will have your own room and bathroom in a newly built apartment in central Zug.
  The apartment is 15 min by walk from the lake, 10 min by walk from the station, a parking space is available.
  We appreciate family meals which you are more than welcome to share with us, you can also access the kitchen at your own time. We do not cook meat at home but we don't mind if you are not vegetarian.
  We do not smoke and would ask you not to.

  The lake is 15 min by walk, you can swim, paddle board, play beach volleyball or relax or cycle around it by bike
  Luzern, Zurich are within 20 min of reach by train
  Lugano is reachable for a day trip also by train
  Hiking, skiing, swimming, plenty of outdoors activities
  
  We would be more than happy to show you around but keep in mind we have two young children who keep us very busy.

  We have a fully equipped office space we use ourselves some days of the week, you are welcome to use it when we don't. To be discussed on a case by case basis.
