Descrição
Our three acres is home to a large hoop-house greenhouse, many outdoor gardens, fruit trees and a couple of horses. We are family of six, and our pets (dog, cats and horses). We are located in a small seaside community in BC - a 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver.
We run a market bakery that keeps us quite busy through the spring and summer and we are always in need of help keeping our gardens growing, yard kept up and household running.
We are easygoing and relaxed and have flexibility in work times and days. We appreciate having workawayers who are capable of taking on tasks independently and are confident in their abilities - questions and clarification are always welcome!
While we do work from home running our market bakery there is no expectations of 'work' for our business. - noted as per workaways request. -

Ajuda
We are currently looking for help with family meals, yard matinance and blackberry clearing.
Our summers are busy times and preparing family dinners is a huge help. Vegetarian meals preferred.
As the summer fruit ripens there will be many weeks of blueberry and blackberry picking as well as the occasional day of cherries, apples, plums and pears - all for the enjoyment of our family, not for sale as per workaways request for clarification in case you thought we were looking to have you work for a business.
Yard help can include clearing (brush and blackberries), lawn mowing and such.
Also help could be required with processing food from harvests (canning, dehydrating, fermenting, wine making etc.)
Ability to work with us as well as on your own is required. -

We are please to offer a bedroom with queen sized bed, own bathroom, entrance and patio.

The Sunshine Coast, BC is a stunning coastal community filled with lots of hiking and mountain biking trails, ocean beaches and lakes. It requires a ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, BC to Langdale (approx. 40min) .

While we are not able to offer any kind of septic/sewer hook up we do have space for RV's of most sizes with electrical hook up as well.
