This was our first ever workaway experience, we are both travelling around Australia at the moment but had no idea we’d been spending too much time in the city until we arrived… and wow, Elaine and Lindsay, your home is beautiful, we are sorely missing those beautiful wrap around views.

… read more us a Sunday Roast (with Yorkshire puddings to boot) to give us a taste of home the weekend we arrived. Our work mostly centred around gardening, weeding, fencing & home removals – it had good variety and we learnt a lot from it. If you are looking for a workaway where you feel like part of the family then this is the place for you – we had some great evenings with Elaine and Lindsay – exploring local pubs and meeting their friends.

Kate and Sam epitomize the whole idea of workaway. A willingness to work, learn, exchange ideas and do it with the right attitude. They were willing to take on any task that we requested, with a smile and a great sense of humour. We were able to get some fencing done and they weeded a lot of the garden. They also willingly assisted me with some
… read more tidying up at my sister's house. They fitted into our family and our social life and were accepted readily by our friends. They both have great personalities and a positive attitude. If you get a chance to host this great couple you will not be disappointed. They will be welcome back at our place at any time. We wish them safe travels as they journey around Australia.

We found Luis and Toby to be most helpful and willing to chip in and do anything we requested. They are good conversationists and we enjoyed their company very much. They fitted into our erratic, choatic lifestyle and didn't disgrace themselves on the big pool table. They were also welcomed by our friends and socialised with them as well.

… read more were happy to complete any tasks we asked them to and it varied from clearing weeds, planting trees, spreading manure, painting and reading books to the grand daughters. We would recommend them wholeheartedly as workawayers and wish them safe travels.

They were the perfect host! They were so kind, friendly and lovely.
I couldn’t speak English well but I felt instantly welcomed into their home. The work was not hard at all and they taught me a lot of things and always helped me.
They showed me the surrounding area, we cooked and baked together (their food was awesome). I had a lot of fun and
… read more great time every day. I really enjoyed staying in their place with amazing view. I’ve made wonderful memories.
I really recommend this place if you love animals, want to see Australia and stay in the beautiful place. I miss you all so much. I want to see you again. It was such a pleasure to host Nozomi. She is polite, respectful and has such a pleasant easy-going personality. Nozomi was willing to help with any task. She helped us to build garden wicking beds, painting the house, and weeding the vegetable garden. She was also keen to help us with looking after our grandchildren. She fitted in with the
… read more movements of our family (due to a close family bereavement) and was so supportive to our whole extended family,
We would not hesitate to host Nozomi again and if you get the chance to host her you will find a helpful and willing workawayer.Comentário
