Welcome to our piece of paradise! We are a husband and wife who opened this hostel 4 years ago in Puerto Viejo, a lovely and a chill Caribbean town in Costa Rica. This hostel is our home and we care deeply about it! We're looking for the right people who are responsible and caring to help us with the hostel. The hostel itself is small with a few rooms and a small camping area which makes this place very easy to manage. Our location is just a few minutes walk from town and has easy access to a beach path that takes you to many nearby beaches. The space is very chill and beautiful, and includes hammocks with an ocean view, big trees, monkeys, sloths, and the other animals that regularly pass through. It's a great space to get to know other travelers, practice your Spanish or just take time to relax and rejuvenate.

My wife/ co manager/ reception, 1 paid local personal for reception and 1 paid local personal for the facility cleaning

At the hostel you will meet a lot of other fascinating and beautiful people from a different cultures from all over the world, everyone with a different prospective, knowledge and experiences. Practice your Spanish or other languages as different travelers come through! In addition to that, the Talamanca region is full of a beautiful history.
Explore the beautiful Caribbean beaches and rain forests- the wildlife of costa rica and puerto viejo town are really amazing.
Ajuda
Looking for easy-going, hard-working and self-motivated people to join our very small and friendly team! Primary responsibilities include helping in reception, attending to the guests, cleaning and other tasks as they come up. Typical shifts are 7.00 - 12.00pm - 12.00pm- 5.00pm or 5.00-10.00pm. Preference given to those who can commit to a 1 month minimum stay, ability to speak English and Spanish (requirement), experience helping in hostels and those who have strong customer service skills.

A volunteers apartments with a private kitchen and bathroom( all the volunteers sleeps at the same apartment)
A beautiful outdoor kitchen for your use- food not provided, other than papayas and bananas as they come off the trees! There is also a local fruit and veggie truck that regularly stops by with great prices!
Hot shower, WIFI, on-site laundry and a few hammocks to chill.

Explore the beautiful Caribbean beaches of costa rica, a town with a really nice vibe and full of different cultures, wildlife and marine life all around! Ride a bike or take the bus to Cahuita National Park, Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge or to a local waterfall, walk over to Playa Cocles and learn how to surf, go on a chocolate tour and much more!

The atmosphere is beautiful, the garden, living area and shared kitchen is so nice. All volunteers live in the same room/studio, so you get very close. I got to know great friends!
