I spend one week with guys in Marumba and it was the best ending of my journey in Australia. Very kind and clear communication and bright energy ☀️I enjoyed every second of being there! Great healthy food, best view even from the bed, geckons everywhere, aboriginal films in the evenings..We were burning out the land - new and very good experience

The nudist lifestyle comes very natural, it is just another cool part of the experience! This was my first nudist experience and i can say there is nothing to feel uncomfortable about. I was a little nervous but soon realized this is our natural state and feels more normal than i

The work is very enjoyable, you will be working outside on different projects around the property using your hands working with the land, the property and learning new skills. The landscape is awe inspiring and beautiful to work on. On your time off you can rest in the hammocks, explore the property on bicycle, learn about flora and fauna, go for swims at the creek and just hang out. The food is amazing! they are both very creative cooks and if you like veggie burgers Keith makes a mean veggie burger ;)
Keith and Rick have a wealth of knowledge on bush life, aboriginal culture and nudist culture. They are happy to share their knowledge with you so pick their brains! also they have an amazing aboriginal cd and dvd collection. I learned so much about aboriginal culture and history during my stay it was very valuable to me. Rick also goes to weekly yoga class if you are into that it is great! highly recommend.
My stay there has changed the way that i view my body and nudity in general. life in the bush is simple and beautiful, you will learn a lot and get to know two amazing guys that have created a life out in the bush. I had a great experience staying with Rick and Keith at their property south of Darwin. If you are considering this but are unsure about the nudity, be assured that after about ten seconds, (the time it takes for you to disrobe and feel the breeze on all of your exposed skin) you will feel liberated. Keith and Rick have a wealth of knowledge which they have acquired over time as they have created their home in the bush. More than happy to teach, they also want you to experience the culture and beauty of the Australian outback. I was there during the dry season and we spent many afternoons creating the firebreaks which provide protection against a possible fire from a neighbor’s property. It was a pleasure spending a few weeks with such friendly, engaging, humorous men and I would recommend it highly as a wonderful Workaway stay. … read more different things to do in the house or the property, and I started with simple ones, but as I was slowly getting more confident in what I could do, Keith and Rick gave me more complicated and autonomous work, and I'm really grateful because I learned a lot and developed new skills, which was part of my expectations. Eric is a fantastic guy no host should hesitate to take if he contacts you.
We had already met up with Eric four times in Queensland (where he was working) and here (where he was travelling) since he first contacted us in July.
He is a cheerful, capable, reliable solid worker with fitness and stamina. If a job needs doing, it's worth doing
… read more well and it's not done until it's finished was his attitude. This approach applied to hard work like landscaping, the 99 rock steps to our house site (I was usually his assistant!) to washing up or cleaning and everything inbetween. Whatever needed doing he was willing and able and never complained.
Eric has a lot to offer and we can all learn a lot from his openness, acceptance and willingness to experience life to the full with an open mind. He is knowledgeable, intelligent, interesting and has a maturity in excess of his years (that's when he wasn't teasing me!) oh yeah. He has a sense of humour, sometimes (joke!)
Well it's pretty obvious we enjoyed the 3 weeks he was working with us (as did our other helpers), the trips we shared together and the socialising with friends.

What a time I had at their place! Their country is called Marumba, what means something like "a good place", but that's truly an understatement. It's magic. … read more happy, be yourself. Nobody is gonna judge you for your body.
They let you decide on which project (and their are plenty) you wanna work. Actually they make you wanting to work, because you wanna repay their gratitude and you wanna create something as a team. Rick is a endless source of knowledge about building, construction and whatever handiwork there is. Keith is the good and happy soul, like a proper engine oil who keeps it running smoothly.
Because of the intense heat (don't be mistaken by that, it gets bloody hot) we started work right after sunrise. To watch the sunrise with a morning tea from the ridgeline kickstarted our day. It's very special. And by the time it's getting too hot you can just enjoy the country. A bushwalk to the creek at the back of the property or a relaxing afternoon at Robin Falls. It feels like holiday, actually it is.
And the wildlife! If you keep your eyes open you will find a incredible diversity. From small ants and bees to geckos, snakes, spiders and kangaroos. After all the time the two lived their, they still got an incredible interest in wildlife and plants and it seems like they would love them all. Ok, not the cane toads, but they suck and are ugly anyway. :D
We had some amazing road trips to places I would've never seen without them. Breathtaking Gorges, Hippie Solar Villages and historic Outback Pubs. I loved them all! Thanks for making all that possible. ;)
Keith and Rick truly opened my eyes to nudism and so much more, things I wanted to know and things I didn't necessarily need to know. Maybe it was a life changing experience, at least to some degree. :D
All I can say is, that I found two really good friends at Marumba. Must be a good place, after all. Thanks, friends! :)
