Hello, my name is Joseph and I am 58 years of age. I like yoga, mountain biking and exploring the area trails and wineries. We are have a small 6.5 acre farm in Fairfax Station Virginia, close to DC. It's location is five minutes away from a quaint historic town, Clifton, Virginia. There are 4 horses, more than 10 Nigerian dwarf goats (some are babies), chickens, pigs, a vegetable garden, a pool, an 8 stall barn and a meandering creek on the farm. Its a laid back and fun atmosphere.

You will learn about Clifton Virginia and the adventures available nearby in Fountain Head regional park. You will be close to DC and the culture and museums available are amazing. You will interact with a family that loves nature and the outdoors and is learning the farm life. We offer goat yoga and animal therapy programs, special events and more coming.

I had the best time at Josephs place! I stayed there for 2.5 weeks and was warmly welcomed. I was there with two other girls. Our daily activities included taking care of the animals and doing various farm and garden work. Our project was to repaint the deck, which was a lot of fun!

WOW - Joseph was our first workaway experience and it was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! There were so many opportunities to work on the farm and help mark items off his "to do list"! Scott watched my farm for me for 2 weeks. He arrived on a Tuesday exactly on time. He is excellent to communicate with and very reliable. Scott only had 2 days overlap with me before I left for Colorado for a wedding. I spent almost 1 month on the farm in Virginia, it was a great experience with the animals, Joe always tried to make me feel at home. Farm work was fun, there were always different things to do. Thanks for the trust, for the good energy and for the tours Joe.

Helping Joseph with the farm was an amazing experience, it was physically demanding but it was worth every minute of work and help.
