  There's just my husband John and myself. We're not young, but also we're active. John used to work here in Puglia as an electrician and I used teach English to Italians before Covid.
  Our very private, countryside villa is in the heart of Puglia, but it's also within 5 Km of 4 reasonably sized towns and 25 Km from Brindisi with an airport and a Freccia Rossa /Argento train service. In Ostuni (6km) there is a railway station which is served by Intercity trains.

  Fluent English and reasonable Italian and French spoken. Puglia is still an under developed part of Italy with a predominately agricultural economy mainly olive and some wines. You will probably be able to use garden mechanical tools. We are also 20 minutes by car to beautiful Adriatic beaches.

  Ajuda

  We are looking for couples (non-smoking). We have a rotovator, strimmer and mower.
  
  Most of the work will be in the garden and on the land. Some minor building work.
  There are 2 bikes available for use, but use of your own transport would be a benefit as there are plenty of places to visit in the area.
  We have 3 dogs 2 Marimannos and the other a Siberian Husky.

  The villa is on the ground floor with a roof terrace. One double-bedded room and a shower room exclusively available for this room.

  Ostuni, Carovigno, Lecce, San Vito dei Normanni, Cisternino and Martina Franca all have beautiful old centres. Further south is Otranto, a lovely, historical coast town and Matera, the Sassi town. The beaches here are mostly unspoilt and un-colonised out of season. We have normally a very mild temperature but in June, July and August often have temperatures in the middle 30'sC. We have a small plunge pool for cooling off!
