Descrição
We are a backpack hostel in the beautiful island of Guadeloupe. We're situated in Saint Francois.
Guadeloupe is part of the French Caribbean West Indies archipelago, just above Dominica and right under St-Maarten.
Saint François is the most popular city to stay in on the south coast of Grande-terre. There are loads of tourists by day, and every night is an on-going party. It's the perfect place to discover Grande-terre. It's still a small old fishing village, packed with locals, market places, bars, restaurants.
This is a city house, right in the heart of the village, 20 meters from the most famous market place, 5 minutes' walk to the closest beach, bars and restaurants. You'll be in the middle of a typical Caribbean village.

We offer you the possibility to stay at the hostel, where you'll have your own bed bunk, and you'll be living with all the guests.
Surrounded by French and Creole speakers, you'll have plenty of time to learn French!
Also, the guests hit the road every day, giving you the possibility to discover this beautiful island by jumping in their car, when you are not working.
And we sometimes go surfing as well :)
Ajuda
You mostly clean the hostel, which has two dorm rooms with six beds each. You will also check in new guests when they arrive. The work takes about 3 hours per day and is not very difficult. You will work independently.
After cleaning, you're free to explore, to go to the beach, to do whatever, until new guests arrive. We ask you to be in the hostel between 3:00pm and 6:00pm to welcome guests.
We have 2 Workawayers at a time to share the job. You can schedule the work between you, for example, working every other day.
If this schedule is to your liking, we'll be pleased to have you on board with us.
A little knowledge of French would be appreciated, since most of our guests are French-speaking.

Acomodação
A bunk bed in a dormitory of 6 people, with AC. You'll share the room with travelers. You'll have your own locker. Everything else is shared (toilet, bathroom, kitchen, swimming pool :) )
