Hi Sincerely Workawayers,
I am Indrotomo. I have a camp focusing on making villagers both children and adults able to speak English.
If you are interested in volunteering for at least 2 weeks, in spare time, you can visit some interesting places around Temanggung and neighboring towns such as Borobudur temple at Magelang, Dieng plataeau at Wonosobo, beautiful hills, traditional arts, dances, exotic resorts, home industries of arenga/ palm sugar, coffee, do mount climbing, play music, sport etc.
The projects I run are:
1. Speaking class
2. Outdoor event when there is enough number of volunteers
3. Assisting to create a video channel about English Speaking focus.
Temanggung is of course, a safe town to stay. We can have 2-4 volunteers to stay together with us in our house with friendly neighborhood and wifi connection.
You can have at least twice Javanese meals a day. You will help yourselves in making tea, coffee and other drink, or cooking if it's your hobby including washing the dishes. You can either use a washing machine provided or take your clothes to laundry.

The volunteers will have new experience in:
watching musical and traditional dances, cultural events if It meets available Village events.
-tasting various local foods, fruits, etc.
-training students/ teachers to speak and
-visiting interesting places on week ends.

You can take the flight to Yogyakarta and get the shuttle bus to Magelang bus station (3 hours, IDR 180.000,-) and take the bus to Temanggung) 30 minute, IDR 10.000.-). Stop at Hotel Indraloka or Indomart then I will pick you up there.
Your daily activity is having a speaking class at my classroom and the school. Hopefully you can get in touch with people surrounding by doing sports, playing games, music and visiting nice places. Your coming is greatly expected because speaking with foreigners is something interesting for them.

There can be 3 four-wheel vheicels in our yard including my own. Touring in the villages around Temanggung is interesting to immerse the nature in a hilly areas.
