  Welcome to my little paradise in Sicily. I am Johanna and I have been living in Sicily on the north side of Etna in Linguaglossa for 15 years. I live here together with my animals (4 dogs, chickens, peacocks, pigeons and a cat). The maintenance of the garden and the care of the animals require a lot of time. On the one hand I would like to have support in taking care of my garden, because there is always something to do, and on the other hand I would like help in taking care of the animals, especially the 4 big dogs. Feeding and walking would be part of your tasks. If you have some dog experience, that would be very beneficial. A car is required (!), because I live outside the village. The village of Linguaglossa is 5 minutes away by car, the nearest beach and the Etna mountain are 25 minutes away.

  Ich bin Johanna und ich wohne seit 15 Jahren auf Sizilien auf der Nordseite des Ätna in Linguaglossa. Ich lebe hier zusammen mit meinen Tieren (4 Hunden, Hühnern, Pfauen, Tauben und einer Katze). Die Pflege des Gartens und die Betreuung der Tiere benötigen viel Zeit. Ich wünsche mir zum einen Unterstützung bei der Pflege meines Gartens, denn es gibt immer etwas zu tun, und zum anderen Hilfe bei der Betreuung der Tier, insbesondere der 4 großen Hunde. Füttern und Gassi gehen wären Teil deiner Aufgaben. Wenn du etwas Hundeerfahrung mitbringst, wäre das sehr von Vorteil. Ein Auto ist erforderlich (!), denn ich wohne außer des Dorfes. Ins Dorf Linguaglossa fährst du 5 Minuten mit dem Auto, zum nächstgelegenen Strand bzw. hinauf zum Ätna benötigst du jeweils 25 Min.

  Sicily is pure culture. You can visit all these cultural places during your stay. Especially in the east of the island they are close together. You will meet the lovely people of the island and get an insight into the Sicilian life.

  You will have your own apartment with a bathroom. We use the kitchen together. However, I attach importance to the fact that it is left after use as found.
  
  Guests can use the kitchen at any time. We cook together or divide the kitchen help. If I am absent, the guest will receive board money to eat.

  Dir steht ein eigenes Apartment mit Badezimmer zur Verfügung. Die Küche benutzen wir gemeinsam. Ich lege jedoch Wert darauf, dass sie nach der Benutzung wie vorgefunden hinterlassen wird.

  You can reach the sea in 25 minutes and the Etna National Park in the same time. The nearest famous cities are Taormina and Catania. The famous Alcantara Gorge is also within easy reach. The area around Etna is characterized by wine growing and you will find many wineries with a long tradition.

  Das Meer erreichst du in 25 Minuten, ebenso schnell bist du im Ätna Nationalpark. Die nächstgelegenen sehenswerten Städte sind Taormina und Catania. Auch die berühmte Alcantara-Schlucht ist schnell zu erreichen. Das Gebiet um den Ätna ist vom Weinanbau geprägt und du findest hier viele Weingüter mit langer Tradition.
