  My wife and I live in central Italy (Umbria) in a beautiful valley where we cultivate many biological olive and fruit trees and have a vegetable garden. In summer time we run a B&B and in spring and autumn we host Workawayers for helping pruning, mowing and harvesting. We are so to say in the middle of nature!

  We are living in the countryside, especially in a valley where you will experience the life close to nature. Ourselves we are from the Netherlands, but are very internationally oriented, and love to learn new cultures.

  Ajuda

  In spring and autumn there are many things to do on the biological olive oil farm. We look for help with pruning, mowing and harvesting our 500+ biological olive trees. In October or early November , we will go together to the olive mill and taste our very own newly made olive oil on a “bruschetta” the very same evening! The days are short, so we may have lunch in the field followed by evening in our house, where we will be cooking. Of course we will take you once in a while to the nearby city of Orvieto for you to explore. Also, we can take you to the nearby Orvieto train station. You will be learning all about running an olive oil production site on a biological basis. But also the day to day life in the "Italian campagna".
  
  Preferably you come with a friend, as we as we looking for two workawayers.

  You will have a private double room with your own bathroom. We will eat together in the kitchen.

  The place is quite in the countryside. Walking around is endless, but for a local village we need a car. We are envisaging to take you occasionally in town, or to the Orvieto railway station (for trips to e.g. Arrezzo, Firenze, Rome) and collect you later during the day, and of course you are always able to join us for shopping etc.
  
  We have a few house rules, one of them is no-smoking.
