We are a young family Zdenek (34), Nikola (30) and Klara (3). We live in the heart of Czech Bohemian Paradise. Small village Brada close to Jicin city It is only 2 km to the Prachov rocks. Before Klara was born, we had the great opportunity to travel around Europe and explore a part of beautiful Australia. Travelling always broadens horizons that's what we love. We would like to share experiences, skills, life destinies and much more with young travellers and lovers of outdoor activities like we are.

We have been orienteering since childhood. Sometimes enjoy climbing, slackline and during winter we prefer cross-country skiing and ski touring. We both love travelling, mountains and nature.

Nikola is always a smiling, positive minded and loving mother. She spent one year in Finland like an Aupair, 3 months in Australia travelling around and many weeks train orienteering in several countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway). When she isn´t on maternity leave, works as a nutritional therapist in a hospital and helps with an online project of health. However, when Klara was born, she is more interested in prevention than in actual treatment. How to properly take care of your health, how to get your own source of food, how to process it, store it and not produce tons of waste, that's her way to physical and mental health :))

Zdenek is very busy at work during the winter but he likes it. He is a marketing manager in winter sports sektor. Always positive person. Nothing is a problem that´s his rule.

Klara is the best baby in the world :) of course. She is mentally and physically very accelerated compared to other kids of the same age. She can speak Czech almost fluently, so you can easily get an answer even don´t expect it. She can teach you traditional Czech songs and to dance baby shark dance like a boss and much more.

We offer a base camp for your outdoor activities. It´s an exclusive offer for climbers because it´s very close to one of the best sandstone climbing areas. When it´s sunny and nice weather for your activities you can go. Otherwise, we welcome your help on the weekends. We are open to everything if it´s a clear discussion.

We would be happy if you have some experience with some type of our projects like woodwork, painting, tiling, drilling or gardening. But if you haven´t don´t worry, we can show you if we know.

We would like to cook dinner together and share Masterchef experiences. During the day you can eat what you find.
If Nikola is at home and have some time to cook, it´s for everybody. If she is not at home you have to manage it together with Zdeněk or by yourself.

We are also ready to teach you orienteering if you are interested. We can connect you with climbers from this area. And of course, you can borrow everything that we have for outdoor activities (bike, climbing equipment, slackline, etc.)

Ajuda
We build a house but it´s still under construction, especially outside the house. We are looking for help to complete this nice place for life. Zdenek has a bit quiet summer at work. So is ready to do these projects around the house. He would be happy to have any help.

- Projects with sandstones – fence, stairs and walls in the garden
- Projects with wood – wooden projects like terraces, lumberjack or henhouse
- Help with indoor tasks – tiling, painting, assembly of everything is possible
- Occasionally take care of Klara

Acomodação
If we manage to move until you came, you can have your own apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. If we don´t you can have a separate room with its own bathroom, but the kitchen is shared with us. There is also space for a caravan or a tent.

Cesky Raj, sometimes known as the Bohemian Paradise, place where we live. Nice climbing area just 40 minutes from Prague known for its traditional purist style. When climbers first set out to conquer the area’s sandstone towers, the modern trad gear did yet not exist, so they used knotted slings and prussic instead. While some of the routes now have some bolts (these are NOT sport routes!), the style is much the same: no metal gear is allowed in order to preserve the rock.
However, once you master the technique the possibilities are endless. Cesky Raj is home to 30 sectors offering over 18,000 routes, within just 40km of one another! Chimneys, cracks, friction climbing, edges and face climbs - this area has it all. In fact, you’ll be surprised by just how much the sandstone can change in such a short distance.
Climbing is not the only attraction of the Bohemian Paradise: the whole place has a remote, wild and adventurous feel about it. Imagine valleys covered in sweeping pine forests, full of old castles and oddly shaped sandstone towers. There are wonderful hikes for rest days, authentic pubs with delicious local beers, and a warm and welcoming climbing community to drink them with.
