I stayed with this so lovely family for close to 5 weeks. They are so nice and natural, and it was a pleasure to be a support for them. I could take over some house chores: washing up, cleaning, washing and hanging up laundry, shopping and other little activities of everyday life, to free them a bit. It is unbelievable how they are capable of
… read more realising what I did in sometimes more than 5 hours while they are going on with their professional life and having time for the children, when there is no Workawayer.
Axel is a wonderful boy and I had so much fun playing and being with him. Ayco was in THE stage, where she does not like when her mum is not in sight. So, I had not much I could do there, but support Caroline and/or Stéphan.
Your organisation, Caroline and Stéphan, is clever, and I commend you for your strength and the way you are organising your life.
In Capbreton and surroundings is always something to be done for, I think everybody, for a young and less young person. I love this area!
I enjoyed my stay very much, I felt like a member of the family and I thank you so much for this opportunity!

Talking about a polyvalent woman ! Ask her to paint a wall, she will paint it and in meantime she will paint also a placenta and make a piece of art with it.

… read more closet, she will put it together and find out a way to have it multiplied by two and have it halved the price ?!
Ask her to babysit some days for our 3year old boy while we were away to the maternity hospital, and she became not only good friends with him but also surprised us when we returned home with our new born baby with a deep-cleaned house.
In the kitchen she can be a pizzaïolo or a baker. On the beach a sunbather or a lifeguard.
You want advice ? About dipers, infecting umbilical cords, erythema or colics with newborn babys ? Ask Jasmin : she's a Doula.
About comptability, how to manage your business or about investments plans ? Ask Jasmin : she has an MBA.
About child development or any pedagogy questions ? Ask Jasmin : she's a mother of 3 grown-up children.
Besides being polyvalent Jasmin is a nice person to have around, who is very autonomic, flexible, understanding and adaptable.

I stayed with Caroline and her family (Stefane, Axl and the newborn Ayco) and for me it was a wonderful experience and also a great time-out of the everydays-life from home. From the very first moment I met Caroline it felt like being with a friend, who was always thankful, uncomplicated, open-minded with a big heart. I even had my own space and
… read more bathroom in the first floor which was clean and comfortable.
The main task was to support Caroline with childcare and household as she was pregnant and shortly before the expected date. Their 3 yr old son, Axl, was easy to have, friendly and fun to take care of - a lovely, sweet boy who loved to do colouring or play with his cars. I usualy brought him to school by bike in the morning and picked him up in the late afternoons. In the mornings, when Axl was gone, I took care of household stuff, for example cleaning, doing laundry, tidy up. I also built up a cupboard and painted a wall.
The most important thing for the family was that I was able to take care of Axl after she gave birth, as the parents stayed together in the hospital for a couple of days with the newborn little baby-girl called Ayco - due to Corona it was not possible for son to be there, too. Although Axl knew me only for 5 days it was managable and I had a lot of joyful moments and playtimes with him.
Besides that it was my pleasure to give additional helping hands with preparing dinner, cleaning a.s.o. sometimes more than they expected and although Caroline never asked for because I felt like home and so much appreciated. Caroline and Stefane always made sure I have everything I need and wanted me to feel comfortable at all times. We shared many excellent dinners together, I will never forget the delicous meals they prepared (especially the fresh fish) and all those interesting conversations about life, travels, work and future plans.
In my freetime I enjoyed the great beaches, sea and sun. I also went to the nearby forrest, movie theater and spent relaxing afternoons in lovely street cafes in Capreton or Hossegor. Everything is close and easily reachable by bike or foot. I just loved the place, got to know new people and way of living! So all in all a great place to be and wonderful host to stay with!

Hi , I would like to mention my staying at Caroline and Stephan place, spend very nice time with Caroline familly special Axel, very nice chuppy boy !. He was so proud to show me his first ride bike. Good energy to play game board!!

… read more on the 2nd floor. There was a lot to do, and I agreed wasn't very easy to do it alone and she's pregnant. As I love cooking, I did the evening meal, so I could spend my freetime to looking for a seasonnal job on the afternoon
They were so king to help me in my seaching season job. Too.
Capbreton down town is a very nice place easy to go to the Pays Basque and the north of the Landes.
I would liked to spend time in the water with Carioline to learn surfing better, but it will be another opportunity to come back to see you
My stay was wonderful and I will go back as soon as possible! '
