    Welcome to Paradise!

Here we are passionate about healthy water, clean air, healthy soil, foods, and forests, as well as healthy minds, bodies, and souls.

We are looking for someone to help with our daily group workouts and housekeeping. No couples or groups.

OUR FARM- The farm is 400m high in the foothills of the Andes Mountains in the Amazon Rainforest, surrounded by wild jungle & other village farms. We are far away from the city and enjoy fresh air, and quiet tranquility. A great place for star gazing! There are many rare birds, butterflies and wild animals in the surrounding jungle.
We practice organic farming. Pick your own fresh fruits. We have a tree nursery and reforestation project, some (stingless) bees and chickens. We produce coconut oil (not every week) and many natural products like soap here. We make We make woven products from platano trees, ceramics plates, cups, and bowls etc, as well as teach English to children at a native community nearby at times. We have been here for more than 10 years. In that time natural healing methods have always been important to us. We have met many natural healers, and have discovered a way of eating and drinking that has made remarkable improvements in our quality of life, and many others as well. If you are interested, we can share this with you while you are here.

    -WHAT YOU CAN DO HERE-
Your primary responsibilities will be helping me with our daily group workouts, and housekeeping. We have a home gym, and laundry machine which you can also use. On some days, you may be able to help with tree planting, gardening, eco-construction, tree nursery, ceramics, and crafts, if you chose to. You can observe our coconut oil production, but not participate in the processes of production, meaning you can't help with producing coconut oil, putting the lables on jars and packaging the products,

We usually have 4 to 10 volunteers staying in dorms.
You will have your own private room and private washroom, 3 meals a day which you can have where you are staying or with the other volunteers.
We usually have pizza night once a week made in our own pizza oven.
We also have sushi night once a week.
Helping hours are only 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
We have a good relationship with the native communities nearby. You can volunteer to teach English in your spare time.
After working we highly recommend going for a swim in the river here, going for a hike in the forest right here, playing football or volleyball in one of our 2 native communities within a 25 minute walk from here, or going for a shorter walk to visit some of our friendly neighbors farms. We usually go sightseeing, hiking on the weekend or even a weekday as well as make a run to the city if you like.

We're not just looking for helpers but also people to share this beautiful place and experience with.
We are looking for a long-term stay but let's start with a couple of weeks or so, then take it from there.
We have an incredible river with cascades on the property that we are developing as one of our main tourist attractions. We are currently building a Hostel, coming soon!
If you want to see everything from the Amazon jungle forest, eco-construction, deeper cultural interactions with the locals, permaculture, to producing coconut oil you came to the right place.

    -HOW TO GET HERE:
We are located 25 minutes outside of the District of Lamas, in San Martin Peru. Lamas is 25 minutes outside of Tarapoto.

To get from Lima to Tarapoto by air, I would recommend Star Peru. The flight is about one hour.

By bus I would reccomend Movil Tours or Civa. They usually have new and clean buses. The ride should be about 24 hours.
We will give you clear instructions on getting here from Tarapoto, the biggest city in the region less than an hour away from our farm.

Our project is a very small operation. We usually average 4 to 10 volunteers here.
We are located in an isolated rural Amazonian community.
Transpotation to and from here needs to be planned and coordinated in advance.

Feel free to ask me about anything. I check my Workaway inbox daily.

    Current projects:
Coconut oil production (not every week)

    Soap making

    Crafts from sustainably available materials

    Hostel and Eco-lodge project

    Reforestation project

    Food forest

    Ceramics

How is all of this even possible?

This project has been made possible through the inspiration of Jesus Christ.
This project has been made possible by approaching problems with an open heart and a positive attitude, while looking for mutually beneficial solutions for everyone involved including the earth itself.

If you are coming here with positive energy, and want to help us achieve our dreams, we hope to see you soon.

    Best wishes.

HOW THE INTERNET WORKS: We are located in an isolated rural area of the Amazon Jungle of Peru. We have wifi, however it can be very slow sometimes. At times in may cut out for 1 hour or more. You can get good internet and cell coverage from the service provider Claro. If your internet demands are more serious you have the option of buying a prepaid sim before you get here, from Claro that will give you x number of GBs at high speed, and much higher reliability. We reccomend that you get a prepaid sim card with a small amount of credit. It can be usefull for emergencies, and to be in contact with us on your way to the Hacienda, just in case you need assistance.
