We understand the universe as a vast woven fabric—an intricate weave, just like everything in nature. Each thread is connected; when one is pulled, the entire tapestry shifts. This is the delicate balance of life, anot to unravel, but to weave, to mend, and to knot. October 26th and 30th, we’ll be hosting a 4-day / 5-night artist residency bringing together a selected group of Ecuadorian artists and the Tsáchila community. The residency will explore community-building through art, with a focus on: - Music & sound - Weaving with palm leaves - Collaborative art-making We’re looking for volunteers with an artistic or scientific background who can add to this experience. If this resonates with you and you’d like to be part of this creative process, we’d love to hear from you! The fee includes: lodging and food, and some materials

If coming by bus: Coming from Santo Domingo on the Vía Quevedo, ask the driver to let you out on Km17 (by the "empacadora"). There's a dirt road leading to the neighbourhood "San Andrés 2" (if in doubt, ask the friendly people by the store). It's a 10 minute walk to the finca from here, marked with two wooden signs. By car/ taxi: Same directions, but you can drive all the way to the finca from the main road (Vía Quevedo). We have sufficient parking space, should you come in a private car.
