Hello future friends! My name is Rah. I am a 29-yr old Xhosa South African American living in Philadelphia, USA.

I have been engaged in full-time social justice work deeply for several years, and need a change of pace and time to deepen into other interests this Summer, 2026.

I am a fast learner, a hard worker, and work effectively in both highly structured or non-structured conditions. I own my own business so am highly organized, responsible, and have a wide variety of skillsets. Adapting to new cultural settings is comfortable to me.

I have over a combined decade of experience in the hospitality + restaurant industry. I occupied a range of roles from reception, host, cook, server and manager.

In my free time, you will find me either in the garden, on a hike, or in my kitchen concocting a new recipe for an herbal tincture, a tea blend or family meal. I am a very experienced cook and love preparing food for others. (In my photo gallery you will find pictures of my various homemade body products, culinary creations, and shots from my garden).

I am searching for educational opportunities, meaningful work, and simply the chance to enjoy being in new places. I take every opportunity to learn something new. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have over 10+ years experience in restaurant + hospitality industries so I have excellent cooking and hospitality skills. I tend to a garden here at home, have 2 years of formal herbal medicine training and enjoy learning about skills related to self/community-sufficiency.

I am skilled with DIY projects, technology and academic research.I have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. I love the outdoors and am happy to help with any nature/agriculture related task.
