Hello!
I'm an ED nurse currently travelling in New Zealand, having recently been adventuring in Thailand and Laos for a few months.
I am an active person, a doer, who enjoys sports and spending time outside, whether exploring a new city or being in nature.

Back in 2017, I did an amazing 9 month trip across Europe using Workaway and met some incredible people, found myself in and amongst the local culture and learnt a whole host of new skills. Hoping to continue this and get stuck into some work again, maybe even find a new passion.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am enthusiastic and always keen to learn new skills and ways of doing things. Through working as a nurse, I’m a good communicator, I am flexible in my approach to work and use my initiative. I have a lot of experience doing customer service roles and working with the public, having worked as a waitress in restaurants and bars. I have looked after kids by babysitting for friends and family, plus worked as a children's counsellor at a Summer camp for vulnerable children. I know my way around a kitchen, can cook and clean up after myself.

Some of the work I did in 2017 included:
Portugal (3 weeks) - repainting a Villa using a roller and brush (interior and exterior)
Czech Republic (5 weeks) - garden maintenance (mowing and pruning), chopping wood using a chainsaw and handsaw, building an ice-cream shack (including using a braker/SDS drill, basic plumbing and drainage, rendering and concrete skreeding)
Bulgaria (4 weeks) - help with renovation of a traditional house; re-pointing interior walls, general labouring, principles of building a concrete balcony, building exterior garden wall with natural stone.
Romania (5 days) - built a mud and cob garden wall using natural materials.
Sardinia (8 weeks) - garden clearance, demolition, design and construction of kitchen using scrap materials, window frame sanding and varnishing, deep cleaning, interior wall painting.
Amsterdam (2 weeks) - relocation packing and moving, interior wall preparation and painting.
