Hello everyone,
I´m Maike, 23 years old, from Germany, and I´m currently finishing my Bachelor`s degree in Psychology. Before starting my Master´s in October 2026, I'm planning an exciting trip together with my boyfriend Ben, who is 22. We will be traveling in our van through Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Ireland and wherever else the road takes us.

I´m using my WorkAway profile to find a host for both of us. I've already had some wonderful experiences through WorkAway, working on a farm in Hawaii, on another farm in Norway, and at a holiday resort in Sweden. These stays gave me a real love for connecting with people from different backgrounds, learning new skills, and living close to nature. Now I can't wait to share these experiences with Ben.
Ben has a Bachelor´s degree in Sports Science and works in a rehabilitation center. He plays basketball and is passionate about cycling. He also coaches children in basketball and leads rehabilitation exercise groups. I enjoy running and swimming, and I teach children´s dance classes. Sport is a big part of our lives and we both love sharing that energy with others.
We both feel happiest outdoors, whether it is hiking, skiing, exploring, other simply being surrounded by nature. We are also hoping to learn how to surf during our travels.

Ben is really good with practical work and enjoys working with wood, is great with animals and loves cooking, which I appreciate a lot. I am on the creative side, enjoy gardening and love spending time with children.
We're both open-minded and easygoing, and we're really looking forward to learning new things, helping out where we can and meeting people along the way.
