Description

I am happy to assist with food growing, organic growing, composting, weeding, gardening, animal and pet care, pet sitting, children, house sitting, and organising. I am dedicated and hard working. My father was a horticulturist and grew much of my food when growing up.

I grew up on a dairy farm so I am familiar with most animals, and as a family we always had cats and dogs. We had to feed the chickens each morning, feed the calves their milk when they were young, and sometimes help round the cows up for milking. I have experience with alpacas (my father used to breed them), horses and most farm animals.

I have been a House Sitter, Pet Sitter and Farm Sitter for 10 years now, with over 30 5-star reviews. I regularly mind small farms with up to 30 cattle, 8 sheep, up to 10 dogs (for breeders), cats, chickens, and fish.

I have grown my own herbs, fruit and vegetable and I often take care of homes with large gardens and vegetable gardens that require watering.

I am trained in Complementary medicine and energy healing. I regularly do trade sessions with other practitioners, rather than still be in clinical practice.

I have computer software skills, organisational, and administration skills. I have run a website previously so have online marketing, blogging, and writing skills with excellent grammar. I have sewing and craft skills too.

I have rural acreage myself so I am familiar with keeping a larger property mowed, with removal of noxious weeds, and regular maintenance. I have also lived off-grid so my electricity usage is always at a minimum.
