I am taking a little career break to explore Europe, learn Portuguese, meet new people and have lots of fun adventures.

I have a working holiday visa for Portugal from August 2023 to August 2024. This allows me to have paid work for up to 6 months.

I have lots of different work experience, for the past 9 years I have worked in environmental sustainability in both local and state governments in Australia. I am very passionate about reducing my (and others) impact on our earth.

I grew up on a farm, so have experience working on farms (milking cows, was my summer job whilst studying at university) and am not afraid of hard work.

I am an excellent communicator and love connecting with people from around the world. I am a fast learner and have a positive attitude.

I have completed 250 hours of yoga teaching training and am trained as first aid officer (through my previous employer).

I love yoga, dancing, cycling, music festivals, reading, cooking, walking and second hand clothes. I have 8 nieces and nephews (who I love hanging out with).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been working in environmental sustainability for 9 years in both local and state government, predominately focusing on recycling and waste avoidance. Prior to coming to Europe, I was managing a small team working on the governments single-use plastics ban.

Through my various roles, I have developed experience in people management, project management including budgets, managing project risks and reporting. One of my key strengths is building relationships.

I grew up on a dairy farm, and have worked on multiple farms over many years this has included, milking cows, planting trees etc. I have a positive attitude, am confident and willing to learn new skills.

I have experience working in hospitality too.

I have come to Portugal to gain new working experiences, improve my Portuguese, and connect with a new culture. After the pandemic restrictions in Australia and spending lots of time working from home, I am looking for a role where I am active and able to meet new friends and build community.
