Hi there!
My name is Jan and I come from Bratislava, Slovakia.
I work as a software analyst, which allows me to work remote now and then — for a week or even up to a month.

Because my work usually means spending quite a lot of hours behind a computer, I’d love to use my free time for something more active. I enjoy being outside, moving around, helping with hands-on tasks and just doing something different than sitting at a desk.

I’m easy-going, open to learning new things, and I like meeting people from different places. Looking forward to being part of your project and sharing some nice moments together!

I grew up in a family where we used to do things ourselves, so have some experience and basic skills with gardening, taking care of animals, choping wood, concreting, DIY home projects, etc.
I'm/I:
- confident in using powertools, chainsaws, strimmers, mowers, etc.
- can drive and have an international driver's license (categories A,B).
- not afraid to 'get my hands dirty'

Jan was one of the best workawayers we ever had!
He is physically strong and a hard working person, but also quiet and calm, easy going and friendly, he has a overview of things, it was a pleasure to be around him.

We had an amazing time at Thetis Island with Lynda and Michel. They were super friendly and made us feel at home. Thetis Island is incredible, full of great people and places to explore. These two were the best workaways anyone could ask for. Conscientious, meticulous and have the rare talent these days of using initiative to complete tasks that need to be done without having to be asked.
They left their cabin cleaner than when they checked in.
