Hi there! My name is Carla and I come from a small winery on the Mosel river in Germany, so I grew up in the countryside with my parents, my older sister and my friends. Looking back, I can say that I loved being outside every day and having the freedom to explore animals and plants. I've been studying psychology for the last few years, have finished my studies now and would like to go back to the north before I start my training as psychotherapist.
I would describe myself as very open-minded, I'm interested in getting to know people, understanding their point of view, their life and values. In my free time I like to do outdoors activities, like riding my road bycycle, going for a run and in the winter, I also like to go cross country skiing - luckily I live close to the alps!
My favourite kind of days are the ones that you spend outside, come home to cook something good and then fall asleep because the day in nature was so fulfilling :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up helping in the vineyards so I know a lot about growing grapes/making wine. I also know long days full of hard work, no matter the temperature or the weather.
My grandfather was a carpenter so I kind of know some things about the work with wood, but I'm not an expert.
When I was a teenager, I spent my vacation on a horse farm, fed the animals, cleaned the stables, groomed and cleaned the horses and took them for rides. I really enjoyed doing that so I would love to work with horses again! My neighbor also thought me how to work with sheep - at least a little bit but that was when I was very young so I don't remember that much of it - I would love to learn more about that aswell!
I also had cats growing up and I shared an apartment with a person who had a dog that I took care of aswell so I'm used to having animals and pets around :)

I would say that I learn very fast and can help wherever help is needed. I speak German and English fluently and I know some Spanish. Other than that, I'd love to learn the basics of a language that I can't speak yet!
