Hi, I'm Henri and 22 years old. I just finished my bachelors degree in landscape and garden architecture in Ghent, and have no idea what to do next. The study was really interesting and the subjects we dived into were vast. My favourite course was plants knowledge where we went to the botanical garden each week. Here we learned about specific plants, how to determine them en their usage. I also followed some cool optional classes like ‘forest design’ and ‘food forest’. These inspired me most creatively and were the most fun to do! :))
My hobbies are:
- Hiking, I love hiking in forest, exploring the plants, different paths, listening and looking at the plants and trees.
- Plant based cooking (vegan) and eating, I love to eat and explore new flavours and combinations, I would love to try out some new vegetables and herbs. I also love to cook and make super tasty dishes with lots of vegetables and herbs.
- Reading, expanding my knowledge with gardening books or more environmental books is always fun to do, I also like to read novels.
- Working in the garden, this is just fun to do, sow some seeds, mulch some plants, water some plants, just a bit of experimenting to make a more biodiverse garden.
-Fermentation and preservation, also something I'm interested in, a few years ago I brewed kombucha which was really fun!
Some more things about me:
Nr 1 favourite animal is a donkey, they are just so cute and cool.
I'm really open and eager to learn more and to meet more people and get out of my comfort zone.Centres d’intérêt

I just graduated in a bachelor Landscape and garden architecture. There I learned and discovered the magical world of plants and how to recognise them. Always learning more about their use, edibility and medicinal powers. I also have read a lot about market gardening, permaculture, the soil, mushrooms... I love to explore new stuff. After I graduated and did my internship in an office, where I sat most of the time in front of the computer, I figured out I want to learn more how to do stuff in real life with my hands and connected and in harmony with nature. I have some experience in organic vegetable gardening, I love to grow and care for tomatoes plants! Further I think I have a little bit of knowledge of all kinds of small things of the natural world. :))

It was an amazing place to stay and discover the beautiful surroundings of the most beautiful coast lines we ever saw.
The work was diverse with a nice break in-between. We did some mulching of the newly planted trees, made some mulch, did some forest maintenance and climbed some trees to… read more
I got an awesome tour of the place when I arrived. You will never get bored of learning new things there. :))
I stayed in the mens dorm, which first I was a bit hesitant about because of not so nice previous experiences in dorms, but… read more
