Description
This is a piece of paradise, a big space within the Natural Park of the Costa Vicentina. We have had the honor of being the guardians of this land for ten years, dedicating ourselves to rewilding and reforesting as part of our effort to help it thrive. We are a family: Diogo and João, my son, shares this journey with me. We normally live with a small group of friends/volunteers in a sort of temporary community. We are very laid-back, hardworking, and enjoy a simple life in nature and good vegetarian food!

Here you can learn to take care of a pristine land by the ocean! You can integrate yourself in the buzzing alternative culture of the Costa Vicentina, join our network of friends, get to know other projects, communities, celebrations. You can learn how life can be lived out of the big metropolis, how we can integrate ourselves in the natural environment in a respectful way, how we can learn from nature what it needs to thrive and how we can eat healthy vegetarian food that is also delicious so that we can also thrive!

Are you passionate about nature preservation and rewilding? Join us in restoring and nurturing this beautiful piece of land within the Costa Vicentina Natural Park! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us with:
- Gardening and growing a diverse, thriving vegetable garden
- Planting trees to restore native forests and promote biodiversity
- Cutting old trees and clearing space for new growth
- Preparing wood for the winter in a sustainable way
- Harvesting pine cones to aid in reforestation efforts
Every task you take on directly contributes to our mission of rewilding and revitalizing this unique ecosystem. By working together, we’re helping nature heal and flourish for generations to come. If you’re ready to be part of a meaningful journey, we’d love to have you join us!

This land is very big and simply amazing, taking walks, going to the wild beaches are a must here! Moreover there is the possibility to surf in nearby beaches and discover the Costa Vicentina: Arrifana, Odeceixe, Praia Vale dos Homens, Praia Monte Clerigo. Visit nearby cities like Sagres, Lagos, Faro, or smaller villages like Monchique, Bordeira, Carrapateira.

I spent four weeks at Diogo's and it was just wonderful. The place is so peaceful, I immediately felt calm when arrived. Anywhere you go on the land, you can hear the waves roaring from beneath the cliffs behind the forest. Tom is simply amazing.
Such a calm character and yet super active and always available.
Tom stayed with us for 6 weeks and became part of the family...

Lucy came to our project with 2 more friends that joined her on the road.
They where all super responsible and respectufull of our farm.
The work was hard at the time they came to visit us. So they took a few days to get upto to it. But when they left they where fully in power and helping a lot!
