Heya!
I’m Silje Mast, 22 years old, living the island life on Ameland, one of those places where you can bike from the beach to the supermarket in ten minutes. I work at a surf and outdoor center where I spend most of my time behind the bar serving drinks with sandy feet and a sea view, and I also take care of the marketing and social media to share everything about the company.

Life here runs on seasons. In summer it’s full-on beach vibes, in winter it’s calm and quiet, which gives me the perfect excuse to pack my bag and go. Last year I swapped island life for half a year of backpacking through Asia. Think temples, street food, night buses, and way too many “just one more” sunsets.
Before that I studied Fashion and Business, something I’d love to dive into again later. For now I’m enjoying my freedom, chasing waves, ideas, and adventures while keeping those future dreams in my back pocket.

I’m social, sporty, and creative. Volleyball, surfing, and photography keep me active, and I’m happiest outdoors, whether it’s on a board, behind a camera, or discovering new places. I like clear plans (because who doesn’t hate last-minute chaos?) but I’m also always up for spontaneous fun.
So yeah, that’s me: Silje, island girl, traveler, and dreamer, surfing through life one wave or plane ticket at a time. 😁

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I speak English fluently and have managed several social media accounts, creating engaging content and building an online presence. Photography is one of my passions, and I love capturing moments and telling stories through visuals. I’m very social and structured, which helps me stay organized and reliable, but at the same time I’m flexible and easygoing, making it simple to adapt to new environments.

I also feel very comfortable working with laptops, phones, and technology in general, which makes it easy for me to pick up new tools and digital tasks quickly.

Beyond that, I’ve worked at a surf and outdoor center on Ameland, where I combine bar work with marketing and social media. Living on a tourist island has taught me how to work with people from all over the world and to keep the balance between professionalism and fun. I studied Fashion and Business, which gave me a creative and commercial mindset that I’d like to explore more in the future.

I’m also active and sporty, with a love for volleyball, surfing, and the outdoors. Travel and nature inspire me, and I’m always curious to discover new places and cultures.

All in all, I bring creativity, energy, and a positive attitude to every project, whether it’s online, behind a bar, or out in the world exploring.
