  Description

  We are a family with twins, a girl and a boy, aged 13, and a cat.
  After traveling for 10 years, looking for a good place to raise our children, we decided to settle in Tuscany, and we now live on a farm surrounded by olive groves, halfway between Florence, Arezzo, and Siena.
  Elena is involved in Steinerian pedagogy, organizes educational workshops for children, and was in charge of our children's education until last year.
  Matteo works in electricity production, while Adele and Nicolò divide their time between school, scouts, friends, and nature.
  We are passionate about reading, board games, hiking, and walks.
  You won't find a television at our house, but there are plenty of books and a good internet connection if you need it. We enjoy good company, and the terrace overlooking the valley is a meeting place for friends, dinners, aperitifs, and cheerful evenings.
  As for meals, we enjoy eating together, teaching you our cuisine and learning yours.
  Friends, singles, and families are welcome, but our cat, Castagna, doesn't get along with dogs.
  We speak fluent Italian, and English and French at a beginner's level.
  We don't smoke and don't like you to smoke inside, but you are free to do so outside.
  
  We don't do this for work, but to undertake an experience that will allow us not only to gain support, but also to make new friendships, and to exchange cultures and languages.
  
  
  Siamo una famiglia con due gemelli, una femmina e un maschio, di 13 anni, e un gatto.
  Dopo aver viaggiato per 10 anni, alla ricerca di un buon posto dove crescere i nostri figli, abbiamo deciso di fermarci in Toscana, e ora viviamo in una casa colonica in mezzo agli ulivi, a metà strada tra Firenze, Arezzo e Siena.
  Elena si occupa di pedagogia steineriana, organizza laboratori didattici per bambini e fino all'anno scorso si è occupata dell'educazione dei nostri figli.
  Matteo lavora nella produzione di energia elettrica, mentre Adele e Nicolò si dividono tra scuola, boy scout, amici e natura.
  Siamo appassionati di lettura, giochi da tavolo, escursioni e passeggiate.
  Da noi non troverete la televisione, ma tanti libri e una buona connessione a internet, se ne avrete bisogno,
  Siamo amanti della buona compagnia, e la terrazza che si affaccia sulla valle è un punto di ritrovo per gli amici, per cene, aperitivi e serate in allegria.
  Per quanto riguarda i pasti, ci piace mangiare insieme, insegnarvi la nostra cucina e imparare la vostra.
  Amici, singoli e famiglie sono i benvenuti, ma il nostro gatto Castagna non va d'accordo con i cani.
  Parliamo italiano correntemente, e inglese e francese a livello principiante
  Non fumiamo e non gradiamo che fumiate all'interno, mentre all'esterno siete liberi di farlo.
  
  Non facciamo questo per lavoro, ma per intraprendere un'esperienza che ci permetta di ottenere non solo aiuto, ma anche nuove amicizie, scambi culturali e linguistici.

  in Castelfranco di Sopra, three kilometres away, there is a bus stop. we can accompany you by car, if necessary.
  having your own car will certainly increase your range of action, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauties offered by Tuscany.
  Florence and Arezzo are thirty minutes by car, Pisa and Siena sixty, the sea two hours away.
