Hello my name is Samantha and I am 23 years old.
I love ❤️ to travel and explored some parts of France and Sweden with my parents when I was a teenager ✈️ This inspired me to travel but as a young adult. I completed several FUN and ENJOYABLE workaways in Germany 🇩🇪 and Croatia in 2024.
I returned to South Africa for the past 15 months and am now looking for a workaway in 2026 😊

I love mixing with people and learning about new cultures and countries 🇩🇪🇭🇷🇮🇪🇫🇷

I have done FIVE workaways so far. The first was for six weeks at a plant 🌱 nursery where I learnt a lot about seedlings, re-potting 🪴 fertilizing and planting. I also helped with general gardening and clearing. The second one was in the hospitality industry at a backpackers for six weeks. I worked at the reception and helped out at the bar and with guests. I also have waitressing experience from my teenage years.
The 3rd workaway was a Bee 🐝 farm. Please read my lovely review from them on my profile. I also helped with the planting of many different kinds of vegetables on this workaway.
The 4th workaways I did was in Croatia, at a dog 🐶 hotel, I really had such a great time there for 8 weeks. The 5th workaway was in Germany, with a wonderful family with their 2 dogs 🤭 Please also read their lovely review.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience working with people as I've worked as a bar lady and worked in restaurants before, so I can connect and engage with people. I have waitressed in many places, sometimes in a very busy restaurant.
I have also helped at the front desk of a backpacker hostel.

I have spent lots of time outdoors. I have worked in gardens, cleared, planted, fixed fences and painted walls. At the nursery we did repotting and working with seedlings. I have a deep love for animals, great and small. I adore dogs and cats.

I have an EU passport.

I love to surround myself with good vibes and great energy that brings out the best of me. I love to care for all animals. I spent my teenage years on a small holding and often helped my Dad with handyman tasks.
