Britta has been a brilliant host! She is always upbeat, cheerful, and as a traveller herself - she has a life rich with stories! She has a good sense of humour and easy to be around. There have been a variety of tasks to keep me busy, and I always felt like I was learning things from Britta due to how knowledgeable she is about a range of topics.

Broager is a beautiful area, and Britta has a stunning view of the sea and the Gendarme Path (a famous long distance hike trailing along the coast). The farmhouse is peaceful and you have additional company in many charismatic chickens and cats.
Her permaculture garden is at the beginning stages so it is an exciting project to be a part of. I highly recommend the opportunity to get involved and meet Britta and co!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Kirsty helped with various tasks. We sowed grass, removed old wire from a hedge and much more. Sometimes we worked together, sometimes she did the work on her own. Kirsty lived nearby and she received food in exchange for her work.
She was very interested and open to my permaculture garden project, which is in its infancy. She took part in

Kirsty is a cheerful person and it was nice to have her as a helper on the farm. Thank you Kirsty :-)

Rachael was a great help to me and my to-do list was completed. She painted the stable door, cooked, weeded and tidied up. Rachael also trimmed the hedge and mowed the lawn with the trimmer. We were also able to make shampoo soap and spin honey while she was here.
She enjoyed working and persevered. The results were always pleasing. I learnt a

It was lovely to have you in the house. Thank you so much for all your help, Rachael.

Britta and I communicated on Workaway and by WhatsApp several months before I arrived. After discussing what each of us had in mind as hostess and volunteer, we seemed compatible, so set a date.
What a wonderful visit! Britta collected me from the bus, introduced me to the house and land — an old house on a quiet rural site close to the fjord in

Over the next ten days I worked steadily through the list, dodging rain showers and enjoying the sunshine, walking the coastal paths watching the birds, and amazed by the constantly changing light over the water. I was always comfortable, never wanted for anything: Britta was on hand to answer any questions, and was happy to introduce me to her neighbourhood and its customs, as well as two of her hobbies, beekeeping and soap making.
Most precious of all, she made sure that I knew my work was appreciated.Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Esther and her daughter Merida were my first workawayer. Esther worked mainly in the garden and finished two projects. She worked persistently and perfectly. Her daughter assisted her. We had some good conversations and I learned a lot about how it is to live in Germany. Merida is a lovely girl full of imagination and stories. During her stay,

Britta is great. She is very kind and caring and knows what she wants. I helped her around the house and in the garden and in return she spoiled us with fresh salad and homemade bread. I enjoyed talking with her and my daughter immediately took Britta to her heart. The area around the Flensburg Fjord is fantastically beautiful. If you are looking
