  Description

  Namaste, my name is Samar, i am a 27 year old Nepali man with a passion for nature ,culture ,and sharing the beauty of my country. I have been working in trekking and guiding for many years and now i invite you to be part of our simple, peaceful life in the countryside of Nepal.
  
  As a volunteer, you will stay in my family home with me ,my wife ,our young son and my parents. You will become part of our family helping with small tasks like gardening, cooking, taking care of my son or even teaching basic English to my little boy.
  
  No special skills/qualifications are needed, just a good heart, an open mind and willingness to connect and embrace local traditions.
  
  In addition to the homestay experience , i also love to take guests on short hike and nature walks in the beautiful hills and forests near our village. I will guide you to hidden spots that only locals know, and share stories about the land and culture along the way.
  
  This is truly a chance to experience Nepali life by immersing yourself with a traditional and loving Nepali family by sharing meals, traditions, laughter, and local knowledge. We offer you a warm welcome place to stay, delicious home cooked foods and an unforgettable cultural exchange.

  Aide

  We are looking for someone to help with day to day tasks in our small house such as cleaning, playing with my little boy , working as part of the farm (agriculture & animal farming), gardening, and helping prepare meals. We will welcome you into the family and you can learn about local life and culture. We all work together and enjoy sharing stories , meals , and experiences.

  Hébergement

  In rural parts of Nepal, accommodation is usually simple and traditional, offering an authentic experience of Nepali village life. I live in Dharke, Dhading District which is about a one-hour drive from Kathmandu. Workawayers will stay with me in my family house with your own room and space. Most houses are built from mud, stone or brick, with tin or slate roofs.
  
  Rooms are typically basic but comfortable, with a bed, blanket, and mosquito net. You will have a private room (if you are a couple) however, if you are planning to stay at the same time as another traveller, this room will be shared with the same gender (i will advise when you contact me).
  
  Toilets are shared, and you will use bucket showers or simple tap water facilities. If you choose to eat with us, meals are usually home-cooked and shared with the family, mainly consisting of traditional dal bhat (rice and lentils), vegetables, and seasonal produce from the garden, however, there are options for eating out which I can provide support for if required, but please note, you will have to pay for this (which will typically cost around 1,600rupees for a full 3 meal day) We also have unlimited wifi.

  Our home is in a peaceful rural area surrounded by hills and farmland . Its a great place to relex, learn and enjoy simple living. The nearest city i.e. Kathmandu can be reached by local bus and we can help you arrange transport when you arrive.
  
  During your free time , you can explore nearby villages, go for short hikes, visit local temples or join community events. WE appreciate workawayers who are respectful, open minded and flexible. As a professional trekker and guide, i can provide a travel itinerary for most parts of Nepal for hiking and trekking, all of this would be at a reasonable price but dependant on the length of your adventure but please reach out to me, if you want advice or quotes.
  
  Life here is simple, and we all help each other like a family .Please bring comfortable clothes , a reuseable water bottle and a positive attitude.
