Description

Hi! I’m Onil, a 48-year-old Canadian with a strong background in cooking, manual work, and property maintenance. I’ve managed tourist accommodations, done renovations, and helped with group cooking, gardening, and cleaning. I am also an epicurian tour guide in beautiful Quebec City.

This fall, I will be traveling through Latin America on a journey of personal growth and cultural discovery, combining volunteering with moments of inner work and connection with nature.

I enjoy contributing with my hands, being useful, and sharing meaningful experiences. I’m calm, respectful, reliable, and I value simplicity, well-being, and spiritual awareness.

I speak French and English, and I’m learning Spanish. I’m open to help in peaceful, mindful environments for a few weeks at a time. Looking forward to meeting you!

I studied biology and forest science. I have a background of scientific research and I have been working for the government for 15 years in the climate change field, including climatology, carbon market and site decontamination. I also managed my own tourist home and other residential properties for almost a decade.
I am an experienced project manager and a skilled technical writer. I have great manual abilities like cooking, gardening, cleaning and light maintenance. I am also very good at being of service. I easily find my place in a team and naturally complement the people around me.
