Description

Hello there!

Our names are Lydia and Sven, we're 27 and 28 and we're originally from Switzerland. We decided to embark on the trip of a lifetime in the spirit of meeting, learning, sharing and connecting with nature.

We're highly motivated, and we're not afraid of hard, manual work. We're used to working outdoors: Lydia has done several Workaways/Woofings and has already worked on farms, and Sven comes from a farming background.

In Switzerland, we are social workers and used to work with teenagers. We love human contact and meeting new people. We also love art in all its forms: we do a lot of drawing, painting and pottery, and Sven plays music and do woodcrafting and carving. We also enjoy digital art (graphic design, photography, video editing) and would be happy to help in these areas if needed. We are very close to nature, enjoy mediation, animal watching and wildlife photography. We are calm and open-minded people.

We're starting our adventure in Patagonia and hope to make our way up to Alaska, before returning to Europe (perhaps?) via the Silk Road.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Hi there!

We're a couple of Swiss social workers, of 27 and 28, who want to observe this world, learn as much as possible, meet people and live in harmony with nature.
Our plan is to travel from Patagonia to Alaska. After that, we'll see where the wind takes us!

We're motivated people, and we're not afraid of hard manual labor.

Lydia has already done several workaways on farms in Colombia, Ireland and Senegal. She particularly enjoys contact with nature and animals. She enjoys wildlife photography, painting, drawing, sports, pottery and working with the land (permaculture).
She is very sociable and loves spending quality time with people, great discussions and music.

Sven is calm and caring. He's a calm force, a gentle grizzly. He comes from a farming background, so he knows a thing or two about working outdoors.
He enjoys woodcarving, pottery and drawing. He cooks divinely well and loves all things musical. In particular, he plays guitar and buzuki. He loves to fish, in the most respectful and responsible way possible. He loves passionate people, great discussions and history.
