Hi! We're Luus and Simon, a Dutch couple who decided to trade the traditional 9-to-5 for a life of adventure. At the beginning of this year, we quit our jobs to chase a dream: building our own camper van from scratch and exploring Europe in it. That's exactly what we're doing now!

As much as we love life on the road, we're also thinking about the future. One day we would love to find our own piece of land where we can create a meaningful place to live and grow. Along the way, we're looking for inspiring Workaway experiences where we can learn new skills, gain experience, meet great people, and contribute wherever we can.

Simon has a background in building engineering and experience in home renovations, construction, and all kinds of DIY projects. Luus studied finance and economics but has always had a creative side, with a passion for arts and crafts like sewing. Building our camper together gave us both plenty of practical experience and confirmed how much we enjoy creating things with our own hands.

We are both big animal lovers and genuinely enjoy physical work, whether it's helping with building projects, gardening, farm work, or taking care of animals. We are energetic people who don't like sitting still for long. Currently we enjoy surfing along the Spanish coast, doing yoga, hiking, or exploring somewhere new.

We're open-minded, eager to learn, and excited about all kinds of Workaway opportunities. We'd love to share our skills, learn from yours, and become part of your daily life for a while.

Simon:
- Languages: Dutch & English;
- Worked in restaurants/bars in different roles (kitchen, bartender etc);
- Studied building engineering;
- Worked almost 11 years for an EU based technical employment office in a lot of different roles;

Luus:
- Languages: Dutch, English, German & Spanish
- Studied finance and economics in infra/transport business
- Worked as an advisor in the port industry for 5 years, experienced in: planning, project leading, budgeting, etc.
- Love doing creative projects; sewing, painting, etc.

And we both really love to cook and are big animal lovers!!
