  Description

  Bom dia! We are Jorg (37) and Lisa (27) an adventurous young couple from the Netherlands. From 2021 to 2024 we have been traveling with our camper and end of 2024 we found our dream place in Portugal. When we found this property we fell in love immediately. Our house is the middle of nature with our nearest neighbors 2 km away. Our house is 100% off grid: our own energy from solar panels and water from our well. Our land is 4 Hectares so we have a lot of space. We are surrounded by olive fields and forest so you can walk beautifully in the area. We love working on our land in the peace of nature and the sun. But despite the fact that it feels like we live very remote, everything is still close by. Tentùgal can be done on foot or by bike. The beach is 30 minutes by car and Coimbra is only a 25 minute drive. This means there are plenty of things to do if you want some things to explore.
  
  We have 3 important family members. Our dogs; Vi, a 5 year old female from Montenegro that we found on our camper trip. And Nelson, a 2.5 year old male from Portugal that we adopted when we moved into our house. Since May 2025 the little kitten Elvis found us and joined the pack.

  We learn new things every day and we are very open to share this new knowledge. Things about Gardening, Solar system, waterwell, building etc. We would also like to learn from the workawayer. We did a workaway twice during our camper trip and therefore know what it is like to be a workawayer. We like to meet new people, get to know each other, eat and cook together. But also enough time to do your own things and have your own space.

  Aide

  There are many projects need to be done. Because we just started to create a life in Portugal. We are experimenting with vegetable gardens. We would be very happy if someone knows about this and can help with it. We read some things about Permaculture and find it very interesting. Would be really cool to share knowledge with each other. In the garden there is always something small to do since we have 4 hectares, it is never finished😁 (light cleaning, planting, lawn mowing, watering). We recently build a chicken coop but we need expansion. We have various fruit trees and olive trees that need pruning. Jorg is often busy fixing things, for example he arranged for us to finally have hot water! He completely build the solar system, so you can see how that works if you find this interesting. Collecting wood for the winter, playing and training with the dogs, restoring old furniture, woodstaining, pruning and mowing, building an outside kitchen with a Pizza oven to eat home made pizza's! We have many other light projects like that. We would also like to see what suits someone, but since there is enough different things, that will definitely work out!

  We are learning Portuguese and we passed the language course for A1 and A2.

  Hébergement

  We have a big tent that is beautiful located on our land. Next to the tent there is a storage box made of pallets and it has a roof so it keeps dry/ you have plenty of storage space.
  
  The hot shower and toilet are in our outdoor bathroom. If you have a camper van you can also park on our land and use the outside bathroom.
  
  We like to share a big warm lunch together after working.

  Autres infos...

  Our place is off grid so no neighbors. You can well or cycle to Tentúgal or villages nearby. In Tentúgal you have the best cute pastry shops and it’s even famous for those. There are busses to Figuera da Foz and Coimbra but even an uber or bolt is not expensive.

  Welcome to stay with your camper, we have a outside bathroom with toilet and a shower with hot water. You can stay on a beautiful spot behind our house with views over olive trees where it is very peaceful and quiet. You can choose between a sunny or shady spot.

  We need to talk about it first but we have had a work- awayer with a dog before and also with a cat.
